El Final del Paraíso spoilers for Thursday, September 19th lead Santiago Sanín (Roberto Manrique) to an unexpected person, reveal that Esteban Calvo (Manuel Gómez) is in real trouble, and escalated the war between Aurelio “El Titi” Jaramillo (Gregorio Pernía) and the NWO Cartel. We also learn that Edmundo “La Sombra” Dorantes Borrero (Mauricio Cujar) is feeling generous. If you missed it, let’s get to your El Final del Paraíso recap.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: New partnership

Knowing he has no future in Mano Negra’s (Juan Pablo Gamboa) organization, El Titi’s backup plan is in full effect. He’s met with the son of a former associate, Armando Cardona (Julián Trujillo) to propose going into business with him and another OG narco from Sin Senos No Hay Paraíso, Pablo Móron (Alí Humar). The men are open to negotiations, but are wary. First, they wanna know who he’s running from and are worried he stole this product.

Pilar (Margarita Reyes) jumps into say this is her and Titi’s work, and she’s got the formula stored safely in her mind. Titi backs that up and calls her a genius. He left because the others were trying to give him the short end of the stick, and he won’t be disrespected that way. He tells them a bit about the NOW cartel, and they’re willing to work with it—for a 50/50 rate. Titi ends up agreeing and they have him and Pilar seen by a doctor.

After agreeing to get Pilar everything she needs to continue production and promising to get his daughter, Catalina Jaramillo Sanín, out of the hands of Mariana Sanín Santana (Stephania Duque), they use the doctor as a lab rat to see how this new batch of product works.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: The opposition

Mano Negra is furious that Titi betrayed them, and is suspicious of Dayana “La Demonia” Muriel (Elianis Garrido) might have had something to do with this when they discover the “product” they supposedly escaped with is fake. In reality, Pilar had created two different batches and she and Titi made that switch. Demonia swears her innocence in this and points out that if she wanted to be on Titi’s side, she would have taken off with him when the grenades came out last episode.

Appeased, Mano Negra says he believes her. He wants to get back to work and has everyone get cleaned up while they wait for a new chemist to come along and take care of their supply issue.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Cata 3 in the middle

Poor little Cata 3 is a prize right now in an ex tug-of-war, and it’s so wrong to think that Titi is actually the better option here. Both Titi and Mariana are worried about the other getting the child and have men sent to retrieve her. Unfortunately for the little one, Mariana wins.

Once the kid is back in Mama’s custody, Mariana proves why she should never be around a toddler (or any kid, for that matter). As soon as Cata 3 starts crying a bit, Mariana starts flipping out and can’t handle it. She orders Demonia to get a nanny, to which Demonia responds she hires call girls, not nannys. It’s pointed out that a call girl (or former one) could make a good nanny, so Demonia promises to do what she can. She later succeeds, which is probably the best possible thing for Cata 3 outside of being with literally anyone else on this show.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Crushed dreams

In related news, Santiago is still hurting from the knowledge his little princess has turned into an addict dealer that tried to kill her own mother (Catalina Santana, played by Carmen Villalobos). He flashes back to simpler times when Mariana wasn’t a total annoying mess. She was, in fact, a very sweet kid who dreamed of being a doctor, just like dad.

José “Jota” Luis Vargas (Francisco Bolívar) advises him not to get caught up in these kinds of things right now, as they need to keep moving to make sure Sombra’s men (and the cops) don’t find them. He thinks that they need to make the most of night to search for the proof of their innocence.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Zoraya returns (unfortunately)

They happen to luck right into that. Despite telling Sombra he had no clue how to find Zoraya Fuentes (Eileen Roca), he thinks that her former place might be a place to start. Jota is doubtful, as Zoraya disappeared suddnely last season without a trace. That was when Mano Negra had been using her to get to Alfonso Berrio (Leonardo Acosta). Despite it being strong implied by Mano Negra she’d been dealt with after failing him, she is somehow not only alive, but approaching her old place. Seriously? They better have an explanation for this, of Mano Negra is pretty dumb for the position he’s in. Anyway, Santiago confronts her outside the place and that’s when their scenes end for the day.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Mistakes must be paid

Yésica “La Diabla” Beltrán (Kimberly Reyes) is also furious over an incompetent helper today. She can’t believe that he has allowed Patricia (Ivonne Gómez) to rescue Albeiro Marín (Fabián Ríos) from her clutches, and later confronts him about his uselessness. She points out that he’s an experienced guy, and his mistake was a rookie’s move. That is not something that can be overlooked.

He begs and pleads with her to give him another chance to right his stupid. Diabla ends up doing so—after pretending she was about to blow his head off. We’re guessing Calvo is going to be far more conscientious from here on out.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Protection

As for the ones he let escape, when Calvo called earlier, Patricia was in a panic. She has family he’s threatening and is suddenly regretting her move. Albeiro taunts Calvo over the phone a bit, then promises Patricia that they will protect both her family and Doña Hilda Santana (Catherine Siachoque).

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Welcome to my world

Doña Hilda and Salvatore Miranda (Martín Karpan) are watching Lizeth Muriel (Margarita Torres) sleep following her mother’s death. Salvatore can’t believe that a daughter would order her own mother dead, but Doña Hilda is basically “welcome to my world.” Her resigned, almost a “whatever” attitude is both amusing and understandable after everything they’ve dealt with. She thinks that Salvatore would be better off forgetting about them all, but he wants to do what he can for Lizeth.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: His lucky day

Finally, Sombra spares Arturo García López (Jason Lizarazo) today, although his co-failure isn’t so lucky. Sombra poisons the other with a beer laced a toxin to make it clear he won’t tolerate more failure. He’s going to be meeting with Vanessa Salazar tomorrow, and he wants to have the baby kidnapped, as well as someone close to Santiago. He is sure that will motivate is co-fugitives to do the right thing and return.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Warning

Berrio believes that thinking the attack at the meeting was about him is ridiculous and wants to go back to work, but Lucrecia Olivares (Eliana Diaosa) gives him a dose of reality. She tells him some neighbors saw a man (Calvo) looking in her window. Berrio is taking this seriously now and agrees to tighten security. He suggests getting “Agent Valeria Montes” to help, which causes Lucrecia and Nelly Bayana (Lina Nieto) to exchange a worried look.
