El Final del Paraíso spoilers for Friday, September 13th find Catalina Santana (Carmen Villalobos) in danger, Doña Hilda Santana (Catherine Siachoque) is stressing about her daughter’s fate, and Edmundo “Sombra” Dorantes Borrero (Mauricio Cujar) is betrayed. We also find Yésica “La Diabla” Beltràn (Kimberly Reyes) fuming after she learns some news about the bombing. If you missed it, let’s catch up with an El Final del Paraíso recap.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Watching the show
The bad guys are all gathered with Mano Negra (Juan Pablo Gamboa) to watch the drug trafficking summit, and everyone’s excited to see the fireworks begin. They’re seriously all standing around with champagne glasses and happily counting down to the bomb’s detonation.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Titi’s warning
At the end of the last episode, Aurelio “El Titi” Jaramillo (Gregorio Pernía) had warned Cata Grande via text to get out of the building and bring as many people with her as possible. As they watch the action and count down to the detonation, Titi is quietly begging for Cata Grande to get out. We are seriously surprised no one seems to be noticing that. Like, he is literally standing right next to these people and they hear nothing. We’re disappointed in these so-called bad guys for missing the obvious. Titi may yet get busted, though, but we’ll get to that in a bit.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: The hand that moves all
Finally, the big moment arrives, and we’re seriously not sure what Mano Negra is thinking right now. After the car bomb goes off, Julia (Roberto Conde’s assistant, played by Paula Barreto) interrupts the meeting and announces they’re all going to die before revealed a bomb vest.
Seriously? They don’t see where that might be a problem using her?
Anyway, Cata Grande jumps into action and tries to get Julia to surrender, but this girl is totally all about the cause of Mano Negra, and she hits the detonator. Natalia Bérmudez (Linda Baldrich) jumps in front of Cata Grande and pushes her to the ground, landing on top of her as the bomb goes off.
Vanessa Salazar (Estefanía Gómez) is one of those in attendance that survives, and she immediately spots someone who looks shady, so she chases the guy down through the streets. Finally, she corners him on a bridge and demands he turn himself in. The guy says something about working for “the hand that moves all” before jumping to his death. Vanessa is shook, and ends up returning to the destroyed venue to search out her co-workers.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Hilda’s pain
Doña Hilda is freaked out as the news reports of the attack come on. She is ready to race there to search for information on her daughter. We actually sort of feel bad for her. After all, she’s already lost a son, thought she lost Cata Grande for twenty years before she turned out to be alive, and now her youngest is missing as this news comes out.
We might actually be seeing a cold side to Doña Hilda here, as she refuses to answer a call from Salvatore Miranda (Martín Karpan). She hasn’t got time for him right now, because her attention is all about finding out how Cata Grande is, as well as praying for those who hurt her to suffer as horribly as possible if anything happens to her daughter.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Catalina lives
She’s later relieved to learn that Cata Grande survived, thanks to Natalia’s heroics. Cata Grande, obviously stunned by the blast eventually gets enough wits about her to sit up and realize that Natalia is on top of her and not looking good. She’s feeling guilty because Natalia was protecting her and begs for help. Natalia is eventually taken with the other wounded to a hospital, where doctors and surgeons are working on them.

While Cata Grande stays behind to help tend to the wounded still in the building, Vanessa returns and is thrilled to see her old friend still alive and looking okay. Cata Grande tells Vanessa about Natalia’s bravery and her guilt, and Vanessa apologizes for leaving them alone. She’d seen that man and relates what happened when she chased him before leading Cata Grande out of the building to get checked.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Celebration
Seeing the massive explosion, everyone at the Mano Negra party is thrilled (except for El Titi). They’re toasting each other and their victory against Cata Grande and the rest. Mariana seems especially happy, and we can’t with her. She’s horrible.
Later, Mariana follows Titi and offers some sympathy, as she knows he isn’t quite as happy Cata Grande is dead as she is. Titi makes it clear that no man loves Cata Grande more than he does, and Mariana proposes a toast to those no longer here. Titi refuses her and calls Mariana the Devil’s spawn.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Diabla’s intel
Later, Diabla had been listening to Esteban Calvo (Manuel Gómez) torture Albeiro Marín (Fabián Ríos) with the news about Cata Grande’s death. However, when she checks in as “Agent Valeria”, she’s furious to learn Cata Grande is actually alive. She puts on this great act of how relieved she is while on the phone, but after she rants about that “bitch” having “more lives than a cat.” She decides that if life doesn’t want her to kill Cata Grande, she’s just going to have to make Albeiro do it after all.
She goes to the hospital after to gather some information. Cata Grande is looking at the texts from Titi when she and Vanessa approach her. Cata Grande informs them someone was trying to warn her about the bombing, but before she can say who it is, the doctor working on Natalia comes along with an update. She’s stable, but still in very serious condition and will need more surgery.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Fight ahead
Finally, Alfonso Berrio (Leonardo Acosta) is apparently fighting mad after the attack on the summit. He, Nelly Bayana (Lina Nieto), Lucrecia Olivares (Eliana Diaosa), and another assistant are all gathered in his room to discuss the situation. A doctor comes to tell him he needs to stay for two weeks for additional testing and all, but Berrio won’t have it. He thinks that with everything that’s happened, their country will be lost to corruption if his campaign takes that much downtime this close to the end. He begs the doctor to do as much as he can with him in 24 hours. After that, he wants to leave to get back to work. The doctor actually agrees to this, and seems totally sold on Berrio being this great savoir from the bad guys.
Speaking of the bad guys, Roberto Conde (Alejandro Martínez) is being seen as a great hero after being caught on film helping his opposition. He plays the act off, as well as questions about what this will mean for his campaign. All he is worried about (allegedly) is seeing justice served. He thinks that if he can’t even lend a hand to a fellow human being in trouble, he surely can’t protect a country.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Betrayed
Also today, José Luis Vargas (Francisco Bolívar) and Santiago Sanín (Roberto Manrique) are also seeing the news and desperate to get to their women. Sombra, however, disagrees with that and insists that they stay put. Santiago plays along and “calms” Jota by pointing out that they at least saw Vanessa on TV and know she’s okay. Later, though, they manage to slip out undetected. This infuriates Sombra, so he sends the others out to search for them. We’ll see what happens, as they had caught up enough to stop them by threatening to shoot.
