British Royal Family News is asking if Meghan Markle is trying to protect her son Archie Harrison from the rest of the royal family? That’s what some royal fans and critics can’t help but wonder as there’s a new report that says no, Meghan and Archie won’t be accompanying Prince Harry on his multiple trips to London this year.
This is leaving a lot of people back in London heartbroken, as they haven’t seen the young tot since he was six months old. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the Daily Mail, Meghan was supposed to be front and center at Prince Philip’s 100th birthday celebrations and the Trooping of Colour in June as well as the long-awaited unveiling of a statue in memory of Diana at Kensington Palace in July.

But none of that is going to happen as the Duchess of Sussex has decided to stay home in California with Archie for both “personal and practical reasons.”
Back in November, it was reported that both Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles felt quiet upset that they are not a part of little Archie’s life. Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles love to spend time with their grandchildren but it feels as though they barely know him, as they only got to spend a little time with them before the Sussexes decided to back their bags and move to North America.
One source close to the situation says, “The Prince of Wales enjoyed popping into Frogmore Cottage to see his youngest grandchild and is sad that he hasn’t seen him for so long. He has missed much of his development since he is now growing up in the USA.”
If that weren’t enough, other members of the royal family have also expressed their sadness over not getting to see Harry and Meghan’s one and only son. Even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer considered working members of the monarchy, they are still part of the royal family.
“Other members of the family are very sad at not seeing him. Everyone really misses Archie—they feel it’s particularly sad for the Queen and Prince Philip,” the source added. “Harry always said he looked forward to raising his family with William’s—which of course is not now happening.”
