Antonio Sabato Jr. is clearly tired of being ignored in Hollywood because of his outspoken political views and that’s why he’s decided to do something about it. The Former General Hospital star has revealed that he has big plans for a new conservative movie studio in place as he wants to make films “about this country.” Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Fox News in a new interview, the handsome Italian-born actor says that it’s time to make a change in Hollywood and he’s starting by giving conservative actors a new platform. Antonio says that he’s been assembling a production team for several months now and that he feels as though there is a “conservative hole” in Hollywood.

“I have a script called ‘Trailblazers’ with a bunch of awesome actors [and] friends of mine that are going to be in it. I wrote this for them. And I wrote this for patriots out there,” he told the network in an interview.
“We want to make films. I want to make films about this country. I want to make films about our police officers. I want to make films about Jesus Christ if I want to, and about our country as a nation, about our flag,” Sabato described.
Back in March the actor revealed that he was working odd jobs in order to make ends meet because he was having such a hard time finding a job in the entertainment industry. He believes that he is not getting the phone calls that he used to get simply because he has been very vocal about his support for President Donald Trump.
I had to sell everything,” Sabato reveals in a phone interview with Variety from his new home in Florida. “I had to pay all my debts. I was blacklisted. All my representatives left me, from agents to managers to commercial agents. I literally had to move, find a new job to survive and take care of my kids. It’s been terrible. It’s mind-blowing. It’s a disgrace. It’s tough, because if you’re in that environment in Hollywood and you have something to say that they don’t like, they’re going to let you know.”
The actor adds that while things haven’t been easy for him, he’s gained a new perspective and appreciation of the life that he now leads. Now, whether or not he will return to Hollywood to give fame another shot remains to be seen but for now he’s living it day by day for his Friday paycheck.
