While everyone certainly has their opinion when it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Melissa McCarthy is just happy that they seem to have found their peace in their lives. Here’s what she has to say.
According to Page Six, the Hollywood actress opened up about working with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the Duchess’ 40th birthday video, in which they both introduced her new initiative, ‘40 x 40.’

Meghan is hoping for at least 40 of her most influential friends to mentor 40 women to help bring them back into the workforce. And according to Melissa, she couldn’t be more proud of the work that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have so far done for themselves, both personally speaking and professionally speaking.
She told Access Hollywood, “They were so sweet and funny. I just found them very inspiring. They’re carving out their own lives. They’re carving out their lives for their kids.”
Melissa also applauded the Duchess of Sussex’s initiative. “She’s doing such an amazing thing to celebrate her 40th,” McCarthy said of the program, which the Suits alum announced in their collaborative video earlier this month. “I just love that she’s like, ‘Oh, what can I do to put some good [in the world] and help some people out?’ I was like, ‘Well, that’s awfully nice.’”
As many fans know by now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family back in January of 2020. They’ve since moved to Meghan’s native California, where they are currently raising their two children, Archie and Lilibet, in their multi-million dollar mansion in Montecito.
