Talk about mixed messages. While there are a lot of people out there who are trying to figure out if they are together or not, there’s a new report that says Sarah Ferguson is expected to spend the next several weeks at Balmoral with none other than her ex-husband, Prince Andrew. Here’s what you need to know.
While the Duchess of York has certainly had a busy week following the release of her new book, Her Heart for a Compass, reports say that she has also been invited to Balmoral. One source close to the situation told Britain’s Express, “Sarah Ferguson is coming. She will be there with Andrew.”

Just last month royal expert and author Camila Tominey noted Queen Elizabeth’s perception of Feguson in a piece that she wrote for The Telegraph.
SHe said, “Palace insiders say the 95-year-old monarch has always admired the way the Duchess has not only been ‘such a good mother’ to Beatrice and Eugenie, but also crucially, such a stalwart support of her ‘favourite’ son. In June 2019, the Queen even invited her former daughter-in-law to join the family for the penultimate day of Royal Ascot.”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for both royal fans and critics alike to weigh in on the matter.
Many of them commented on social media with, “ Prince Andrew is no longer part of the Real Royal circle. The Queen won’t say a word about anything private to these two. Queen will probably have Prince William and Duchess Catherine there and Charles and Camilla,” along with, “Maybe HM will give that ole grapevine an innocent test. Tell Fergie and Andrew she is considering on having a small gathering on the Buckingham Palace balcony next year, line heirs and their wives only, and of course Charlotte and Louis. It will probably be in the press before Fergie leaves Balmoral.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about Fergie’s travel plans.
