‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers is saying that Matthew Atkinson who plays the infamous Thomas Forrester on ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ celebrated his 31st birthday on December 27th, making him a Capricorn! Born John Matthew Atkinson on December 27th, 1988, in Marietta, Georgia, which means he’s also a southern gentleman. He goes by his middle name since that’s how his family addressed him growing up, he just took it on professionally as well. The family ended up settling in Kennesaw, Georgia and after high school, he moved to Atlanta to pursue acting, and then after a while eventually moved out to LA, where he currently resides.
This doesn’t happen to most soap actors, but it looks like Matthew and his on-screen alter ego, Thomas Forrester, share a zodiac sign! They’re both Capricorns. Thomas was born just about a week after, on January 7th. If you look up traits of a Capricorn then you can find that there are some very telling astrological personality indicators for Thomas. One is that they tend to be very hard-working and when it comes to Capricorns it looks like patience is indeed one of the virtues they possess.

Apparently Capricorn guys are supposed to not have very social personalities, I don’t think that really applies to Thomas. It also looks like they are very, very goal-oriented which is certainly a Thomas trait. Capricorns also have a habit of finding humor in the bleakest of the situation and love dark comedies, so maybe that is the reason Thomas is like he is. He’s not taking any of this seriously and is secretly sitting back and laughing at it all like it’s some big screwball comedy. They say that while not overtly odd, on the inside at least, Capricorns are often very odd ducks under a very normal looking veneer… that would definitely apply to the Thomas that we know.
The only thing we really haven’t seen to apply to Thomas so far is Capricorn’s workaholic personality. It seems that would be the number one complaint amongst people who are in love with Capricorns is that they have to compete against whatever the Capricorn’s occupation is for attention. That doesn’t really seem to apply to Thomas, but then again, we haven’t really seen him get really comfortable in a relationship yet. If he did get into a relationship with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), would he leave her behind for days on end while he worked himself silly at Forrester? Or is this just something that poor Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) would have to put up with? We’ll see, won’t we? Stay tuned!!!
