‘Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicate that Matthew Atkinson is defending his character Thomas Forrester and his dream of having the family that he’s always wanted. Or at least, the family he thinks he should have. The handsome actor recently went on the record to talk about what’s next for his character. He says one of the reasons why he’s been pinning for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is because he wanted to get over his grief from losing Caroline Spencer.

“He was trying to stop his son from agonizing every night about his mother,” he explained to Soaps In Depth. “His mind is 100 percent set on making a good life for his son and getting him over that tragedy, which means steering him toward Hope.”
With that said, Matthew admits that while he hasn’t always been this obsessive about Hope, he does admit that Thomas does love her and that his intentions are pure.

“Hope is someone he’s always loved, but that doesn’t mean he was always head over heels in love with her,” he said. “He’s had conversations with Ridge about this, where he says he doesn’t need some perfect romance. All he wants is a family, and he thinks these pieces fitting together can create happiness — regardless of other people’s wants or desires.”
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas Getting More Dangerous
But at the same time, Thomas is getting agitated, irrational and worse, dangerous, as he realizes that things aren’t working the way he thinks they should!
“He’s getting less apologetic and not hiding it so much anymore,” agreed Atkinson. “Now he’s starting to be more like, ‘It’s my way or the highway, and this is how it’s going to be, so come on, people! Let’s get on board with this!’” So far, at least, that mentality is paying off for him!
