Netflix La Casa de Papel (Money Heist) spoilers indicate the 4th season is on the way. The show, which tells the story of a group of robbers targeting the Spanish mint, is set to release on April 3rd. In the meantime, there’s been a lot of demand for a change lately. Here’s what you need to know.

La Casa de Papel Spoilers: Catching up!

So far, we’ve gotten into season two. We’re hopeful we’ll get to finish the episodes before the new ones come on. For those of you who’ve been caught up a while (or are behind and want spoilers), let’s talk about one of our favorite characters: Sergio “El Profesor” Marquina (Álvaro Morte). He’s a socially awkward mastermind who brought these thieves together. He also helps run the operation from the outside, while manipulating the investigation through his friendship with Raquel Murillo (Itziar Ituño).

The role’s had him show off several layers. We see the goofy, nerdy side in his scenes with Raquel, while he’s also shown extreme nerves and conflict in others. For example, we were on the edge of our seats as he nearly killed Raquel’s mother with poison before knocking the glass away at the last minute. It was a tense scene that showed the complicated character The Professor really is. We also got to see him in manipulative mode when he provoked Alberto Vicuña (Miquel García Borda), Rauqel’s ex. The Professor manipulated Alberto into a fight so he could knock him out and mess with evidence. But what about the actor?

La Casa del Papel Spoilers: About Álvaro Morte

His bio shows he’s had a pretty impressive career so far. His earliest credit on Wikipedia is in 2002, on a show called Hospital Central, and he made his movie debut the following year with Los niños del jardín, a short film. Since then, he’s built up a long list of TV credits, and it’s said he’ll be joining a new series soon. He’ll play the role of Logain Ablar in The Wheel of Time. It’s a fantasy series set to stream through Amazon Prime this year. Stay tuned, because it looks like he’s not slowing down any time soon. Well, not in the long-term, anyway.

La Casa del Papel Spoilers: Staying in!

We all know what’s going on right now. And while we really urge people not to be panicky about it, it is important to stay home as much as possible, and be careful if you do need to go out and get groceries or other necessities. Álvaro helped spread that message, and addressed fan demand for an earlier season 4 release to make quarantine more enjoyable. While he said he had no control over that, he did recently do his part for fans. He took to Instagram live (from home!) to have a chat with followers, then did a follow-up post. Keep an eye out, because we’re sure he’ll be doing that again before long. And while you’re at it… why not check out this list of Netflix shows we recommended to pass the time? And don’t forget that season 3 of Elite is currently streaming as well. For any other soap opera and entertainment news, please visit Daily Soap Dish.
