‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) may kidnap Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) this week on the soap.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sidwell May Try to Send a Message to Sonny
We surmise this may be the case, since GH released its weekly promo video, which shows that Carly will be attacked in her own home.
In the video, Carly gets attacked from behind in her home. She grabs a fire poker to try to ward off the intruder. We predict that she’s chloroformed and dragged off.
We have to wonder if Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), who has been so resourceful and helpful whenever Carly needed him, will be able to figure out who takes Carly.
In the promo, fans can hear Jack’s voice exclaim, “Oh my God.” He’s obviously in shock and will want to move heaven and earth to find her.
Fans know that Carly is ready to go scorched earth on Brennan after he recruited her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), into the WSB and then lied to her face about it.
Our money is on Sidwell being the perpetrator. He’s the most likely suspect in the kidnapping of Carly. It’s no secret that Sidwell and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are embroiled in a power struggle.
Sidwell has been trying to gain access to Sonny’s piers. Sonny has been adamant that he’s not about to turn his town over to a villain like Sidwell.
So far, Sidwell’s efforts to thwart Sonny have failed spectacularly. He may be done playing nice with the mob boss and seeks another angle to coerce Sonny into giving up his territory.
We can imagine that Sidwell threatens Carly to get to Sonny. However, it may be the man that Carly is trying to take down who ultimately comes to her rescue.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jack’s Influence Could Bring Carly Home Safely
It would certainly create a lot of drama if Jack saved Carly and she was suddenly conflicted over her and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) plans to eviscerate Brennan.
Carly knows how much Jack loves her, and she may wonder if she really wants to be responsible if Valentin decides to do something crazy like kill Brennan.
We know that fans would want to see Sonny be the one to ride to Carly’s rescue. After all, “CarSon” has a massively passionate fanbase, and many fans are still holding out hope that they will finally get back together.
Plus, even though Sonny and Carly aren’t together anymore, she’s still the mother of his children and will no doubt pull out all the stops to defeat his enemy, Sidwell.
Sidwell knows that Sonny would be livid if Carly were missing, and Sidwell may be setting up a distraction for Sonny so he can take control of his piers.
That said, if Sidwell managed to kidnap Carly, it would be a source of contention for her brother Lucas Jones (Van Hasis) and his new boyfriend, Marco Rios (Andrian Anchondo).
Carly tried numerous times to warn Lucas about Marco’s father, Sidwell. It would be ironic if Lucas discovered she was right all along.
Will it be Jack’s influence as the head of the WSB that brings Carly home safely? Carly’s kidnapping may be the very thing that convinces Carly to abandon her revenge plot against her lover, Brennan.
