‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that we strongly suspect that GH plans to bring Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) back together.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny Can’t Trust Justine, and Carly Can’t Trust Jack
It looks like the November 14th episode of GH officially sealed ADA Justine Turner’s (Nazneen Contractor) fate, and any potential romance she may have had with Sonny is now dead in the water.
Justine ambushed an innocent child to advance her career, which Sonny quickly pointed out to her after Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) arraignment.
While we understand that ADA Turner is obviously on the opposite side of the law, the way she went about her “job” yesterday was simply ruthless.
It’s obvious Sonny can’t trust her. Speaking of distrust, Carly obviously no longer trusts Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) after learning he recruited her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), into the WSB.
Jack put Joss’s life in serious danger. Carly is now plotting with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to destroy Brennan. There is no turning back now that Carly realizes Jack not only lied to her, but he also endangered her kid.
Viewers on social media are vehemently opposing a pairing between Sonny and Justine, but “Jackly” has some fans. However, the odds of Carly trusting him again are slim to none.
It really seems as though a “CarSon” reunion is destined to be. The former spouses always end up gravitating back to each other once they remember they are each other’s ride or die.
Sonny can trust Carly with his life and vice versa. GH is a smart soap and tends to know what the fans want to see, and many fans want to see Sonny and Carly 2.0. They are beyond a super couple. Sonny and Carly’s fan following is the stuff of legend.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Many GH Fans Are Looking Forward to a “CarSon” Reunion
In fact, a large segment of GH fans has been rooting for a reunion between Sonny and Carly ever since he found out that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was responsible for turning Carly in to the feds for insider trading.
We are on the fence when it comes to a CarSon reboot. It’s been done like a million times. Yet, something about them together feels comfortable and familiar. It’s like putting on an old pair of jeans that you love.
The pair have been through literal wars together, and Carly accepts and understands Sonny’s mob business. She’s even been involved in his organization before.
Remember when she had to take over and attend a meeting with the Five Families when Sonny was presumed dead? She would make one bada** mafia boss.
Plus, Carly has also put her own freedom on the line to cover for Sonny and has kept his secrets. The two of them would take a bullet for each other without even giving it a second thought.
CarSon is also a great team and never fails to put their family first, and heaven help anyone who hurts one of their kids. The pairing naturally works.
Sonny and Carly have been married and divorced five times. Once was actually a vow renewal. They have a rich history together and share children. No matter what happens, Sonny and Carly have always been and will always be family.
