‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) has definitely found a kindred spirit in Congresswoman Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow Is as Corrupt and Unscrupulous as Any Politician
So, it’s obvious that Willow is the perfect politician. She’s corrupt, dishonest, shady, unscrupulous, and knows how to play her hand and play it well.
Not to mention, she’s undeniably gorgeous, which will likely work in her favor by distracting her corrupt and powerful male counterparts, who are equally matched.
Is she 100 percent batsh*t crazy? Of course. However, we could tell that Brennan was thoroughly impressed with Willow in the April 23rd episode of GH.
Willow couldn’t have been more convincing as the female version of her husband, the former Congressman, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), who is currently living like a vegetable at home thanks to his “loving” wife, Willow.
She really went for the jugular. Not caring one bit that Jack was well aware that she shot her own husband, Willow made it perfectly clear to Brennan today that it would be in his best interests to play in her sandbox.
Willow confirmed right away that her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), told her that Jack had traffic cam footage of Willow driving down Drew’s street from the night that Drew was shot.
However, Willow told Brennan that she didn’t share her mother’s confidence that Jack would simply forget about his smoking gun that would undoubtedly tank Willow’s political career and end with her losing her kids again.
Cool as a cucumber, Willow very calmly threatened to pull funding for the WSB if Jack didn’t cooperate. Willow never wants that traffic cam footage to come to light or give Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) a reason to come after her in another custody feud.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brennan and Willow Share Much More in Common than They Knew
With all the finesse and ruthlessness of any true politician, Willow also demanded that Jack get her some evidence that she could use against Drew, namely, proof that he had something to do with Judge Herran’s death.
She’ll take anything on Drew that could implicate him. Willow is currently using her position as Congresswoman to settle some scores, and she’s anything but shy about it.
The newly minted Congresswoman looked very comfortable in her position of power and not at all bothered when Jack made it clear that he knew she shot Drew. The little minx didn’t even flinch. She was hardly intimidated by him either.
It’s hard not to notice that Brennan and Willow are both ruthless characters who often bend the rules or use others to get what they want.
While Jack is by no means diabolical, he’s not unwilling to play dirty. Willow and Jack also have a bit of a “naughty” chemistry between them, which was also hard not to notice.
The kicker? Willow dangled a promotion over Brennan’s head, knowing he wouldn’t share her secrets. By the end of the conversation, she pretty much promised Jack the Director position at the WSB if he played his cards right.
Willow’s fiery, morally devious nature was on full display as Brennan stood there and couldn’t help but be impressed and intrigued by Willow’s mutually beneficial proposition.
It will be interesting to see whether Willow and Brennan will have more scenes together and what that interaction will look like. Jack has no idea who he’s gotten himself into bed with, so to speak.
