‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny Has Fallen for Women on The Opposite Side of the Law Before
Some fans have noticed the sparks between Sonny and ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor). Yes, Sonny has been here before with an officer of the law.
He once dated an FBI agent, Hannah Scott (Lisa Vultaggio), and later fell for another FBI agent, Reese Marshall (Kari Wuhr). It seems like GH is testing the waters between Sonny and Justine.
We also have to acknowledge that Sonny is basically only attracted to two types of women: Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) or Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil).
Some would argue that those women are the two great loves of Sonny’s life. Justine definitely falls into the latter category.
While many fans still want a reboot of Sonny and Carly for the millionth time, we can think of one way in which a Sonny and Justine pairing could actually work.
The scene a couple of weeks ago, in which Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) insisted Justine stay over and experience Sonny’s incredible homemade pizza, was admittedly adorable.
Without Donna’s encouragement, we doubt Justine would have agreed to stick around for pizza night! Justine genuinely seemed to enjoy herself.
We see the little girl playing Cupid for her father, trying to set him up with ADA Turner. Donna seems to like her, and it would certainly benefit Sonny’s strategy.
Not that his considerable charm and irresistible dimples aren’t enough on their own. Yet, it would be fun to watch Sonny’s daughter play a little matchmaker and bring these two together.
There is an obvious attraction between them. Albeit a somewhat cat-and-mouse game, but there is still some chemistry there.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny Knows Exactly What He’s Doing with Justine
We could also tell from the more recent scene where Justine stopped by Sonny’s place because she needed help changing a tire that it was also cute.
We couldn’t really tell whether Justine truly had a flat tire and needed someone to come to her rescue, or if the incident was staged as a distraction for Sonny.
Donna was funny when she told Justine, “No offense, but you’re a mess!” Unsurprisingly, Sonny and Justine are on opposite sides of the law. Sonny is always on his game when it comes to Justine.
He knows that Justine is working to put him away for his mafia business, and he always seems to be one step ahead of the attractive ADA.
Conversely, Justine thinks she’s on her game with Sonny. Yet, she may soon find herself falling hard for the mobster with the heart of gold.
We have a feeling that a few more encounters with Sonny, and her badge won’t carry the same weight.
It definitely wouldn’t be Sonny’s first rodeo. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He even managed to get Justine to agree to a date that included axe-throwing and his famous lasagna.
We predict that, over time, she will grow closer to both Sonny and Donna. Justine obviously already has a soft spot for Sonny.
While many fans don’t seem too excited about this story, which has been told several times over, we think Sonny and Justine could win over some fans if Donna were involved.
After all, how could Justine look at that sweet little face and still want to send her father to prison?
