‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that All My Children alum Alexa Havins is the new Lulu Spencer. Lulu is set to awaken from her nearly four-year-long coma after Julian Jerome (William deVry) planted a bomb at the Floating Rib in November 2020.

The explosion resulted in Lulu’s traumatic brain injury. She went to General Hospital to get checked out afterward and appeared to be clear.
However, when she went to tell her ex-husband, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), that she still loved him, she lapsed into a coma and has been unconscious ever since.
It has been reported that GH’s showrunners searched extensively for nuLulu and, after an extremely thorough hunt, decided to go with Havins.
Havins played Babe Carey on All My Children from 2003 to 2007. Many fans were upset when Emme Rylan, who last played Lulu, was not asked to return.
Emme Rylan made that clear on social media about a month ago. This caused an uproar among Lulu fans, who wanted their favorite character to wake up with a familiar face.
There was also a lot of buzz on social media that Jennifer Landon, who played on As the World Turns as Gwen Munson from 2005 to 2010, and The Young and the Restless as Heather Stevens in 2012.
Another top contender was Marci Miller, who played Abigail DiMera on ‘Days Of Our Lives’ from 2016 to 2018 and from 2020 to 2022.
Both were rumored to be stepping into Rylan’s shoes, but the plum part ultimately went to Havens. Havens will portray Luke Spencer‘s (Tony Geary) and Laura Collins‘s (Genie Francis) daughter.
The legendary super couple is still leaving their mark generations later. Laura’s son, Lucky Spencer (Johnathan Jackson), will return to Port Charles soon to be reunited with his mother and sister.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Lulu And Dante Have Sparks?
Lulu is a legacy character who was first born on GH in 1994. When Lulu was rapidly aged due to the SORAS effect, actress Julie Berman played the role of Lulu from 2005 to 2013.
Some fans were hoping Berman would return to the canvas. This writer also wanted the first Lulu to return to the show.
She appeared to perfectly capture the spunk and fire of Luke and Laura’s offspring. She also had dynamite chemistry with Dante.
Since Kelly Monaco is set to exit her role as Sam McCall this fall, fans will be curious whether there are sparks between nuLulu and Dante.
Sam has been playing house with Dante as a blended family with Dante and Lulu’s son, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), and her children, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinate).
Unfortunately, the show has decided to kill off Sam. Obviously, they are paving the way for a Dante and Lulu reunion. The couple got together in 2009 when Dante passed himself off as Dominic Pirelli. Dante was an undercover cop. His job was to take down Port Charles’s infamous mob boss, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Later, they discovered they were father and son.
Will there be chemistry between Havens and Zamprogna? The only way to find out is to stay tuned.
