‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) are moving toward common ground.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lucas Offered to Write a Letter of Recommendation to Help Britt
In the September 11th episode of GH, Lucas told Britt that he would write another letter of recommendation to the medical board to help her get her license back.
Britt was floored, especially since she had thought Lucas pulled her aside to scold her. Britt examined Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), and Lucas saw firsthand how caring and thorough she was.
Lucas commended her bedside manner. He admitted that he had despised her for years, even though he was married to her BFF, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen).
That said, Thiebaud and Hansis have a special kind of chemistry. It’s definitely not of the romantic variety, but it is the type of chemistry that would make for the best of BFFS.
Sure, Britt committed many heinous acts during her tenure at General Hospital. She stole Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) embryo, implanted it into her body, and gave birth to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), a child she passed off as her own.
Since Lulu is Lucas’s cousin, he wasn’t exactly pleased with Britt. Not to mention, Britt dragged Brad into her devious scheme, which drove a wedge between Lucas and Brad.
Lucas’ opinion of Britt hasn’t changed-yet. But we suspect it won’t be long before Lucas sees that Britt has grown as a person since then.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Britt Needs Someone With Whom She Can Be Herself
Britt coming back to work for GH as a doctor would be a wise move. Britt saved Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) life after he had a heart attack.
If not for her, Ned likely wouldn’t have made it to the hospital. Lucas sees the value of Britt’s medical knowledge and knows that she could do a lot of good as a doctor.
We can see him eventually softening toward Britt. At least, it would be fun for the audience if Britt and Lucas could grow close.
Britt has only one true friend in Port Charles, and it’s Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). However, “JaBritt” seems to be headed toward a romance.
Britt needs someone to drink margaritas with, hang out with, and maybe make fun of the residents of Port Charles when the Nurses Ball comes back next year. Britt should have someone with whom she can be herself.
We miss the fun friendship that Brad and Britt had, but we could definitely see her finding a new friendship with Lucas. He just needs to be willing to forgive her past mistakes. It’s not something that should be insurmountable.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Britt Could Save Lucas from Sidwell and Marco
We also think that Britt will be the one to open Lucas’ eyes about Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo). She overheard Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) saying that if Lucas became a problem during his stay at Wyndemere, he would need to be “dealt with.”
Lucas has no idea what Sidwell and Marco are doing, but Lucas needs to find out the truth. Britt knows all of Sidwell’s dirty secrets.
Britt could explain everything to Lucas and save him. While Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has certainly tried and failed to convince Lucas that he’s in over his head with Marco, he hasn’t listened.
However, he may need someone else to give him the 411 on his boyfriend. Britt is very blunt. She doesn’t beat around the bush when she wants to make a point. She could potentially save Lucas’s life and his heart from the pain of loving someone he can’t really trust.
