‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) could be Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) savior.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sidwell Has Britt Under His Thumb

Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is blackmailing both Sonny and Laura. He has photos of Laura staring into the trunk of her car at Professor Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lifeless body.

Not only does Sidwell have Sonny and Laura right where he wants them, but he’s also forcing Britt to conduct shady research for him on a cold fusion project that she and Professor Dalton have been working on.

'General Hospital' Two-Week Spoilers Britt Westbourne is working for Jenz Sidwell

Britt was initially working on this mystery research at the Five Poppies motel in Croatia. However, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) rescued her and brought her back to Port Charles.

Whatever Britt is involved in, someone must have helped her fake her death, and we think it may have been Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). After all, the research is part of his “final project.”

    Britt and Nathan

Hey, if Britt and her brother, Nathan West (Ryan Paevy), can come back from the dead, so can their villainous father, Cesar Faison.

Sidwell has Britt under his thumb because he can withhold her medicine for Huntington’s disease. If Britt doesn’t continue to work for him, she won’t have her medicine.

Britt needs to start sharing the truth with Jason. He can likely help her out of the dicey situation she’s got herself into.

    Sidwell has aim

It was horrifying for Britt, who was standing in the room at Wyndemere when Sidwell shot and killed Professor Dalton in cold blood.

Sidwell issued a stern warning: If she crosses him, he’ll do the same to her. Britt is understandably frightened, and she has good incentive to keep her mouth shut.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Britt Needs to Tell Jason the Truth

However, Britt can save Sonny and Laura and free them from any trouble Sidwell may cause. If Britt decides to open up to Jason, he could potentially set her free from Sidwell’s clutches.

Plus, Britt truly cares about Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). If she helps Sonny, she would be helping Rocco by extension.

Since Britt has close access to Sidwell, she could steal those pictures from Sidwell and give them to Jason to hand over to Sonny.

    Sonny guides Laura

Sidwell is a person of interest in Port Charles, and if Britt comes clean with what she knows, it might get him out of everyone’s hair.

We have also wondered if maybe, somehow, someone manipulated the test to say that Britt had the marker for Huntington’s disease.

Sidwell could be using a false diagnosis to entrap Britt into doing his bidding. In reality, there is no cure for Huntington’s disease and no medicine to slow down the progression of the illness. It simply doesn’t exist.

If the diagnosis isn’t real, obviously, Britt won’t require medicine. There would be no reason for Britt to continue her faux loyalty to Sidwell, and she could quit. Right now, Britt doesn’t see a way out. Jason is eager for Britt to let him in.

If Britt chooses to tell Jason the truth and help Sonny and Laura, she’d be a hero. Sonny and Laura would no doubt be grateful to her for having the courage to abandon Sidwell and finally stand up for what is right.
