‘General Hospital’ Spoilers love nothing more than a character having to face the facts. Especially when they realize they’re not the best judge of characters.
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will face that scenario when the truth about his boyfriend comes out.
Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) is a fun character, but he’s not only Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)’s son, but he’s also living his own duplicitous life.
He’s fully against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), albeit on misguided loyalty, but that could put Lucas in danger.
We’re sure Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will try to set Lucas straight. But it’ll also open the door for Lucas to revisit some of his past judgements.
And the one that will stick out is him banishing Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) from his life.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brad isn’t so bad
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers have to admit that we love Brad. He’s honestly one of our favorite characters.
That being said, Lucas had every right and reason to now want anything to do with Brad after his lies.
Brad had good intentions, but good intentions pave the road to hell in many instances.
It’s Lucas’ last brush off and condemnation of Brad that’s going to stick out. He accused him of never changing, or always blackmailing people.
Lucas was right, but Brad also did that to survive and give himself a chance when Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) refused to extend any opportunity.
Does that make it right? No, but it’s the only choice he thought he had.
In that light, he’s not such a bad guy compared to Marco.
And on a selfish note, we want Brad back so we get more of him and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) snarking on the Nurse’s Ball red carpet event. They’re so hilarious!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Marco is caught between two worlds
On his own, Marco is a great guy and wants to do what’s right. But like Brad, he’s stuck between doing what’s right and what he feels is right for him.
For him, it’s revenge. He’s convinced Sonny killed his mother, and that’s not close to the truth. Between that and Jenz warping his thinking, he never stood a chance.
Jenz probably whole heartily believes Sonny did that even if evidence says otherwise. Even if he doesn’t believe it, it’s a means to an end in getting more power and pushing Sonny out.
So when it comes to Lucas moving to Wyndemere, he’s going to get some serious pushback from Carly.
Lucas may know Marco is Jenz’s son, but Carly knows who and what Jenz is.
She’ll want Lucas to be safe and nowhere near Wyndemere and Jenz’s influence. Especially when it comes to leverage.
