‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) slow-burn may have lasted a bit too long for some fans’ taste.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason and Britt Once Sizzled Together
Many viewers are wondering when the pair will finally revisit the magic they once shared. Back in May 2021, Jason and Britt sizzled together during their brief time as lovers on the run.
The pair fled to Canada and his in a lighthouse after being attacked by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), and Britt saved his life.
Their bond deepened when Jason and Britt discovered that she had the marker for Huntington’s disease after Britt was tested.
She shared all her thoughts, feelings, and fears with Jason, and he became her anchor. Unfortunately, when they returned to Port Charles, Jason married Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Jason and Carly had to protect her presumed dead husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) mafia business. Britt was heartbroken that Jason chose Carly over her.
Eventually, both Britt and Jason were also presumed dead. Jason was thought to have died in a tunnel explosion, and Britt was allegedly killed by “the Hook.”
Now, both are alive and well and living in Port Charles, but so far, not much has transpired between them. They have danced around each other for months.
Some fans are becoming impatient as they wait for something to happen. Meanwhile, Britt has endured severe trauma and isn’t talking to anyone or even leaning on Jason for support.
Britt is trapped by Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and is forced to conduct shady research. Her partner for two minutes, Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard), was killed right in front of her, which sent her into a tailspin.
Sidwell warned Britt that if she dared to cross him, she would be next. Britt must also do Sidwell’s bidding because he’s holding her Huntington’s medication over her head.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: We Hope Britt Confides in Jason Soon
GH spoilers for this week indicate that Britt will stop by the Brown Dog to drown her sorrows in alcohol. Britt will become intoxicated and try to put the moves on Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to make Jason jealous.
Cody pulls back and tells her that someone else is in the picture now, referring to Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos). When Britt orders another drink at the bar, Jason suggests that she get a water to go.
He accuses her of putting on a show with Cody to get a reaction from him. Britt laughs and dares Jason to kiss her. However, tomorrow’s spoilers hint that Jason will see Britt take a drunken tumble in her room after Jason brings her home.
What do we hope happens? Britt decides to confide in Jason and tell him about being forced to work for Sidwell. He spends the night sleeping next to her like a gentleman, and Britt finally shares the truth.
Of course, that’s what we want to go down. However, GH seems to be playing games with the writers, teasing Britt and Jason’s never-ending slow-burn.
We have been waiting for the fire and chemistry Jason and Britt once had to return so that we can get on with it.
In our opinion, “JaBritt” needs to move forward with a romance. Many fans don’t want to wait until they lose interest in a potential couple before they finally hook up. Soap 101: give the people what they want already!!
