‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) may be the father of the late Delilah’s (Lily Cardone) baby. Fans have been speculating over this ever since word got out that Ethan would return to the show.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ethan Is an Intriguing Character Who May Have Secrets
Social media has been buzzing over the possibility. Plus, Ethan is a very intriguing character who is likely to be keeping some soapy secrets.
Ever since the mysterious Deliliah passed away and left her baby behind, fans have been coming up with all kinds of ideas regarding the other half of her parentage.
When Ethan arrived in Port Charles and at pier 55 on Friday, he left a message for someone, inviting the person on the other end to “meet up with him tonight.”
He added, “If that’s not possible, I’ll be here every day at noon. I hope to see you soon.” Ethan could have been trying to reach out to a pregnant Deliliah. Perhaps he has no idea about Delilah’s tragic fate.
Plus, Deliliah was a mysterious character who suddenly appeared in the lives of Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
She was struggling with labor pains after falling onto the ground outside a local wine bar. So, the couple took her to GH, where she went into labor.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) did everything she could to try to save the young mother. Sadly, she died shortly after giving birth.
It would make for a very juicy, soapy storyline if Ethan were the father of Deliliah’s child. Brook Lynn and Chase are foster parents to little Pheobe right now until the baby finds a suitable home.
However, Brook Lynn was supposedly involved in a car crash that resulted in Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) almost dying. While that’s what Brook Lynn thinks, that may not be the case.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Delilah Seemed Reluctant to Let Brook Lynn and Chase Take Her to GH
Brook Lynn had drunk a glass or two of wine at the Quartermaine mansion before she headed off in a rush to see her son, Gio Palmeri (Giovanni Mazza), perform at the grand reopening of Charlie’s Pub.
The revelation that Delilah passed away and that his baby is now living at the Quartermaine mansion could set Ethan on a path to claim his baby girl.
The possibilities are endless. It’s also clear that whatever Ethan is involved in, he’s still running cons, which he’d mentioned to his sister, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Breuning), when he returned.
Since Deliliah was so shady about going to the hospital, maybe she was involved with Ethan and some of his questionable dealings.
Longtime fans recall that wherever Ethan goes, trouble is sure to follow. He is the son of the infamous Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) after all. Perhaps he’s connected to Deliliah but doesn’t yet know that she’s gone.
Ethan may find himself waiting every day at noon, thinking he’ll eventually see Deliliah, only to discover the heartbreaking news that Deliliah passed away shortly after giving birth to his baby.
Another possibility is that Ethan may not have known that she was even pregnant, but upon finding out, he’d want to get his hands on that baby!
Regardless, it will be interesting to find out who exactly Ethan had called when he was on the pier the other day.
