Two former child stars are looking at the long arm of the law today.
“That’s So Raven” and “Cory in the House” star Kyle Massey has a $100, 000 warrant out for his arrest after missing his arraignment in court today.
Massey was scheduled to appear in a Washington State court today to face arraignment in his immoral communication with a minor case on Monday morning, but the child actor was a no-show.
This was the second time the Dancing with the Stars season 11 runner-up failed to turn up to court (the first was in late June), prompting the judge to sign the arrest warrant.

Massey has been charged with 1 count of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes. That’s a nice way of saying the 29 year old was sending d**k pics to a 13 year old girl.
The “sexually explicit content”, in the form of photos, text messages and videos was allegedly sent to the minor via Snapchat over a course of two months, from December 2018 to January 2019. The accuser filed a civil suit in March 2019, asking for$1.5 million. Massey claimed he was being extorted.
Massey’s lawyer, claims to have reached out to the DA’s office but have not received a response. Masseys legal team allege that misrepresentations have been made in court and they will move forward to defend the allegations and to “determine why due process has not been followed.”
Meanwhile, another child star, Drake Bell of Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh fame received two year’s probation in his child endangerment case today, along with 200 hours of community service. 36-year old Bell pled guilty to the charge after also sending sexually explicit messages to a minor- this time a 15 year old girl.
The woman (now 20) made a victim impact statement in court and gave more details in the case, including how, after exchanging messages with the star that turn sexual in nature, Bell took her backstage of a concert where she (still 15) performed oral sex on the then 31 year old.
Though Bell had initially pled not guilty, he ended up taking a plea deal, acknowledging his actions and the consequences they had. Bell accepted the punishment without argument and apologized to his victim explaining that it wasn’t his intention to do any harm.
