‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers love how the show tackles mental health and other issues head on to bring awareness to them and help others find a way to get through their problems.
The latest entrant into this just happened to be Maurice Benard’s son, and he plays Adam Wright (Joshua James Benard).
Maurice has been open to how the show helped him deal with his illness, and it looks like they’re tackling a similar subject with Adam, though he seems more like he’s buckling under the pressure from his parents than anything, but there’s definitely something there.
But whatever is going on with him, it has fans wondering whether he’s dangerous or just misunderstood.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – A stalker?
“General Hospital” Spoilers doesn’t see him as a stalker for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), though we can definitely see why that’s a concern.
He always wants to be around her and was even willing to stay in her dorm and wait for her, but he has backed off when Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) came around.
So far, he hasn’t crossed any lines, but that could also be chalked up to he’s being careful until the right time of he feels like he’s been slighted.
Given what Joss has dealt with so far since going to college, why not throw a stalker into the mix? He thinks they’re in a relationship and when she tries to back off he’ll strikes.
It’s a tried and true trope on countless shows and movies.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – An unfortunate soul
More than likely, we think Adam’s simply a typical frustrated kid that isn’t used to people talking to him or treating him well. It may stem from the pressure his parents put on him to succeed and that takes away any fun time he could have.
As such, he’ll come off a bit gruff and strange to many but he simply doesn’t know how to react to people.
One reason we thinking this is true is because Joss may be a lot of things, but she has an excellent people detector. She can tell a fake from a good person right away just like her mom, and the fact she hangs out and studies with Adam is all the reason we need.
Of course, his problems will test their friendship and he’ll have to deal with working through his confusing emotions while balancing them with his parent’s expectations, but in the end he could end up being a good friend to Joss.
What do you think? Is Adam dangerous or misunderstood? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “General Hospital” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
