Elon Musk announced on Twitter that he’ll be voting Republican after calling the Democrats the ‘party of division and hate’ and we’re not surprised. Over the last few years, it’s no secret that the left has become extremely radicalized and will target anyone who disagrees with them. This isn’t to say the republicans are the best thing in the world, but they are absolutely more apt to listen and have a discussion.

As a follow-up, Elon tweeted, “Judging by the relentless hate stream from the far left, this tweet was spot on”, because of all the terrible responses he received.

“In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party.

But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican.

Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold … 🍿”

He has received nothing but awful comments and responses for his comment, and it’s a pretty crazy thing for someone of Elon’s caliber to not only go to the right-wing, but openly admit that he’s going to be voting that way on Twitter. However, it seems like many more are shifting this way, and have just been afraid to open up about it. We’re seeing this with the mid-terms and how people are tired of the woke ideology and ready to get back to normal.

Personally, I shift back and forth, and I think that’s what any sane person should do, just as Musk has done. In the past, he’s voted one way but because of what’s happening in our country, he’s ready to vote the other way. It’s people who get bogged down in their team so much that they never look out the window that are the loudest naysayers.

What do you think? What does Elon announcing this mean to the republican party and are more people turning to the right-wing in 2022? Let us know in the comments below.
