First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) has his eye on the prize. Despite being offered a job by Ava Jerome (Maura West) as her bodyguard, he chose to turn it down in favor of continuing the search for Hayden’s shooter. On Friday, he’ll ask, “If she wanted to talk to us, why not say so?”
Does this refer to Hayden, or her mother? We’ll see. What we do know is, he’ll definitely track down Naomi, while Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) gets a veiled message. This teaser makes us think the message might actually be Hayden, and is the most likely the “she” Shawn asked about.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For August 9: Plotting
Meanwhile, the ELQ fight continues. And we can’t help getting a kick out of Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), who’ll ask, “Are we about to get rich, or what?” He sounds like an ambulance chaser looking to exploit any situation for profit. And we love him for it. It’s entertaining.
As for who he’s talking to, we think it’s Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth). He thinks there’s a way to turn this long shot into a sure thing. We don’t know what Austin’s plan is, but if his direction of Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is any indication? We think there’s a definite devious side to him that has one massive surprise up his sleeve.

As for Trina Robinson, it seems her budding relationship with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will continue. In the promo, she says there’s nothing she can do. Most likely, she’s referring to the situation with her mom, and we’re pretty sure she’s talking to Spencer. He will have something to cheer “you” up. Trina, we’re not sure you want to go along with whatever he’s planning. Spencer is just shady…

Elsewhere, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) makes a decision. Honestly, if it’s not ending this farse now, she’s making the wrong choice. But we have a feeling she might change her mind if that is her decision.
Why? Because Chase will say there’s no place he’d rather be. And he’ll get an idea from Austin. We have a feeling someone’s more vengeful side is about to come out and play and Austin will have one heck of a plan to share. Hmm. Maybe we misjudged his niceness, because we can’t help but think part of this is motivated by causing chaos for the Quartermaine family.

Finally, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) says, “Now you can panic.” Obviously, she’s talking to Nikolas, who’ll be horrified to learn of the letter Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) addressed to Spencer.
