ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal we have a new Spencer Cassadine. Actor Nicholas Alexander Chavez stepped into the role when the character was aged.
We’ll admit, we’re a bit sad to see this change happen, but it definitely makes sense with the current story. Recently, the actor talked to Soap Hub about joining the cast. Let’s see a couple of fun take-aways from the interview.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The background
So, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal someone is stalking Ava Jerome (Maura West). They even went to far as to send the message they can get to Ava’s young daughter. Thanks to that, Ava is currently demanding a divorce, as she knows that’s what the stalker wants.
Meanwhile, we’ve learned Spencer is the stalker. Not a huge shocker, given his desperation to separate Ava and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). But we are surprised by the fact he’s getting so close with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). Like some fans, we can’t help but wonder what the motivation is.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The interview
So, what did the actor have to say? We were interested to learn just how much Chess apparently plays a role in the behind-the-scenes action. He spoke a bit about who he’s taken on, as well as how the matches turned out. It sounds like he’s particularly bonded with his on-screen father.
The other thing we found interesting about the interview was that he screen-tested with West. This says something, in our opinion. And we loved seeing what he had to say about his experience reading with her. Check out the full interview here to see the details.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What’s next?
So, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal he is being a creepy stalker right now, and a little shady with Trina. The fact he screen-tested with West hints at some major scenes between Spencer and Ava coming in the future. How soon remains to be seen.
One thing we’re pretty sure of. We think Spencer is making a terrible mistake with this flirtation with Trina. There’s a spoilers for the Tuesday, July 13th where Trina seems to alludes to the fact her friends don’t think “Victor” is real. So, we believe Ava will eventually stick her nose in this. There are a couple of reasons for that.
One, we saw her admit she looks at Trina as a daughter, so obviously she’s going to be interesting to learning more about this guy.
And this means she’ll likely be protective enough to question things if this guy won’t show his face with any of Trina’s friends. We doubt he would’ve met Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) if they hadn’t had a chance encounter. We’re expecting Ava to push the issue and maybe be the one to figure out who “Victor” really is.
