General Hospital spoilers, Friday, June 5: Backup
First, Brook Lynn brings in reinforcements. General Hospital spoilers hint this could lead to more trouble than she needs. Obviously, she’s not comfortable with Willow being around Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) so much. But when the opportunity came for her to tell him just how much it bothers her and ask him to keep his distance, she didn’t. Instead, she actually sort of backed him considering Willow’s job offer.
This is where things might get bad. See, it’s clear this reinforcement is Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). She is the one Brook Lynn is talking to about someone coming after her husband. But with Lucy’s subtly and bad choices when it came to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), we’re not sure how much help Lucy will be. In fact, her interference could make things worse.
General Hospital spoilers, Friday, June 5: Problem ahead
Case in point: Willow celebrates news with Chase. It sounds, to us, like Chase has considered and accepted the job. After all, we think it’s a little fast for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to share the news that the “mystery father” signed away his rights. While Willow saw Nina’s point about the optics of hiring Chase, it’s not like Willow hasn’t ignored good advice before. And if Chase comes to her to accept the offer, we just don’t see her telling him she’s changed her mind. Not when she was willing to start a war with Brook Lynn just to get some swimming time in with Chase.
Adding to this, Nina is worried about this situation and turns to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Since Liesl will issue a warning, we assume she’s thinking the same as us—Willow won’t listen and it will lead to trouble.
General Hospital spoilers, Friday, June 5: Favor, please…
In other General Hospital spoilers, Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) needs a favor from Ava Jerome (Maura West). Obviously, he knows she is also aware of his connection to Phoebe’s mother. Since he was adamant about not being named as the father, he’s going to want her silence as well. We think his chances aren’t good. At least, not without a huge price attached. After all, she was not happy about him holding her captive on Sonny’s orders and she’s called him a thug. So, yeah. There is zero chance she’s going to agree without massive strings attached.
General Hospital spoilers, Friday, June 5: At odds?
Finally, Laura and Sonny might be at odds. From the clip of them in the promo, we assume Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) gets the pictures. After all, the clip not only shows Lucas with them, but it also features Laura saying she can’t sit back and let Sidwell be murdered then act like nothing happened. Since teasers say she gets a win, we assume she might win this argument and Sidwell will live to be a problem another day.
