British Royal Family News says that you can never really say never, right? Well, that’s what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are probably thinking to themselves as there is a new report that says the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be going back to social media after all, despite the fact that they left their accounts dormant because of the excessive online bullying they endured. Here’s what you need to know.
According to ET! Online, even though Harry and Meghan left Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter because of all the ‘hate’ they endured these last few years, the royal couple is looking to go back to the digital world sometime soon. That’s because they want to spread love and not hate while also promoting their new charitable foundation, Archewell.

With that said though, Harry and especially Meghan are going to approach their new social media accounts with caution. That’s because the Duchess of Sussex knows all too well the feeling of being the “most trolled person in the world.” She even talked about it in a conversation with the Teenager Therapy podcast in honor of World Mental Health Day.
“I’m told that in 2019 I was the most trolled person in the entire world, male or female,” she said. “Now eight months of that, I wasn’t even visible. I was on maternity leave or with a baby. But what was able to just be manufactured and churned out, it’s almost unsurvivable. That’s so big, you can’t even think of what that feels like. Because I don’t care if you’re 15 or 25, if people are saying things about you that aren’t true, what that does to your mental and emotional health is so damaging.”
Meghan also opened up about her reasons for distancing herself from social media.
“For my own self-preservation, I have not been on social media for a very long time,” Meghan shared. “I had a personal account years ago, which I closed down and then we had one through the institution and our office that was in the U.K. that wasn’t managed by us — that was a whole team — and so I think that comes with the territory for the job you have.”
