ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal the custody case is nearing the end. While we didn’t get a definitive answer Monday, it could come tomorrow. When we left off, the judge went to deliberate and #TeamMichael Corinthos (Chad Duell) seemed confident. However, the judge’s behavior was weird. Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The surprise
So, as we expected, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) ended up throwing Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) under the bus. We don’t blame her, really. The admission that Julian Jerome (William deVry) was essentially forced to marry her looks bad.
Especially since she was trying to one-up her opponent. This led Nina to believe Nelle hadn’t changed as much as she initially thought, so she couldn’t vouch for her. The reactions all around were both epic and annoying.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Gloating
First, General Hospital spoilers indicate Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was sitting there gloating through the whole testimony like a fool. And even more so when Nelle did something out of line.
You could see her consider the case theirs right then, and we honestly don’t think she’s much better than Nelle is some respects here. It seems like her behavior is at least partly motivated by wanting a “win” over Nelle more than anything else. Obviously, she has reasons.
But it’s still not a good look on her. Especially since she presumes to moralize/judge a woman when she’s clearly enjoying her mob boss husband’s power. And has put her children in a ton of danger to be with that husband. So, both have shown they have a selfish side that can override what’s right for their kids.
To Michael and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) credit, they were more reserved in their reaction. And they decided to just go home and spend time with Wiley rather than go anywhere to celebrate their victory. Plus, they showed humility by not wanting to jinx their not-yet-announced win with an actual celebration.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What the?
Still, the most unbelievable aspect of the whole thing was the Nelle fit. We really want to know where this judge came from and how he’s still on the bench. Not to mention how Nelle wasn’t thrown in jail on contempt charges.
When Nina told the truth, Nelle lost it. She started ranting about Nina being a liar, Okay, somewhat understandable the first time. And we liked the judge making it clear that wasn’t acceptable.
However, Nelle did it again. And she actually got out of her seat to rant a bit without him really saying a thing, or having her dragged out of the room. That doesn’t feel right, but we do think he’ll make her pay with his ruling.
