These recent flashbacks from the Sonny’s kids collection are showing a couple of parenting fails on her part. Let’s take a look at what happened. First of all, Thursday dealt with the aftermath of a horrible bus crash. We also saw some drama involving Carly and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Now, we aren’t sure exactly how old Michael was in this episode. But he certainly doesn’t seem like he’s in high school. Either way, Carly had a few things to say about his relationship with an older woman. That was her main issue. At least, until she chatted with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). This is where it actually got comical. He obviously knew more about this woman than Carly did, and he ended up sharing what he knows—that she’s an exotic dancer. Carly lost it, and it was hilarious to watch the two interact in that moment. It shows the nice comedic skills they have, and provided a light moment in a dark time, following that crash.

However, we really don’t see why this should be a problem. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that a few extra years and a stripper job should be the least of her worries. After all, isn’t Carly constantly going back to a man who leads a criminal organization? One with blood on his hands, and some of that either touched or almost touched their children. We’d take the older dancer any day. It felt a bit judgmental on her part, too, considering her own past marked by revenge and almost destructive ambition. Plus, her obvious love of the power being Mrs. Corinthos gives her. So, what was the other one?

This came Friday. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Carly was just getting into the donor search that would eventually bring Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) into their lives. And yes, bringing Nelle into the picture was bad, but it wasn’t all. It seems she used Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) and Crimson to launch it and went full speed ahead. We get why she wanted to. Worry over what medical conditions the donor might have that could impact Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is totally valid. We just think her methods were a mistake.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Why it’s wrong
It’s in the way she handled it. Again, we understand her reasoning. However, we can also see Joss’ side. She got made into a public spectacle and it impacted her badly at school. She became the sick kid and everyone now treats her differently, even cruelly. We agree that Joss had every right to privacy in this, and Carly should have discussed it with her before diving in. After all, Joss’ face is the one that’s going to be out there. It’s not unreasonable to think she should have some say in how this search happened. Even if Carly insisted it had to.
