YouTuber Tati Westbrook Cancels Everyone: Huge Jeffree Star/Shane Dawson/James Charles Drama Explained

Did Tati Westbrook (GlamLifeGuru) Quit Youtube?

Tati Westbrook (glamlifeguru) has spilled all the tea concerning last year’s dramageddon and it is juicy, there were a lot of emotional allegations, but let’s get into the bigger picture here. According to Tati, Jeffree Star, a youtuber that’s worth 40 million dollars couldn’t stand having a rival half his age who was rising through the ranks like a rocketship. Getting a deal with covergirl and all of this positive attention, so he decided to do what high school mean girls do best, and get James Charles cancelled.

This all happened around the time of James’ sponsorship with Sugar Bear Hair vitamins which everyone assumed that Tati was angry about because Tati has her own line of hair, skin and nail vitamins which James could have plugged but no, as it turns out things went much deeper than that.

It’d be a good thing to note right here that Jeffree Star is a co-owner of Morphe cosmetics, remember those brush codes they used to hand out like candy back in the day to gurus? (Except for Trisha Paytas but we all know why she probably couldn’t get one now, considering Jeffree’s true feelings about her.) Morphe was intending on launching its own line of hair skin and nail vitamins, and that was just a way of them getting some competition out of the way.

Jeffree apparently told Tati that Shane Dawson was a big fan of hers and that he wanted to learn all about makeup from her. Tati obliged, she and Shane met and Tati, being a big fan of his documentaries thought that maybe one day he could be trusted to share her story of how her youtube channel came to be. She told him of her faith about how she had been the victim of sexual assault and in turn he told her that God had put her in this world to be a light to other people. I guess he was kind of right, because she was the one to shed light on this whole entire situation.

Jeffree used him as a mouthpiece to get in Tati’s ear and spread all kinds of rumors about James Charles apparently victimizing minors. Yes, that’s right, Shane Dawson was telling someone that James Charles was victimizing minors. Considering what’s going on with him now and the reason why he’s getting cancelled it begs the question, “Really, bro?”  because Shane really doesn’t have the best track record himself there. Sure, he’s not Onision but he has said some pretty questionable things concerning minors. Maybe he just didn’t hear the phrase about throwing stones when you live in a glass house.

All of this started happening around the time that the Conspiracy pallette was launched. Because James’s merch was being managed by Jeffree and because Jeffree didn’t like how much attention his rival was getting, he thought the only way to promote Shane was to cancel James. But why would Shane and Jeffree percieve James a rival? After all, he just does make-up looks, Jeffree has his own entire brand of make-up. But James Charles was in talks to develop his own line of cosmetics with Morphe… and who co-owns Morphe? Jeffree Star. I think we can all see where this is heading.

Jeffree submarined James so that he and Shane could make a hell of a lot of money off of some eyeshadow. That’s just what it boils down to, folks. There are other, darker facets to this, and poor Tati’s struggles are still on-going, but she says that this is not the only information she would share. We wait with baited breath, Tati!
