We also have some trouble in narco world. If you missed it, let’s talk highlights in your El Final del Paraíso recap.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Trouble at home
Mariana Sanín Santana (Stephania Duque) and Dayana “La Demonia” Muriel (Elianis Garrido) are picking up where we left off at the start of the episode. In other words, fighting over Titi. Mariana is crazy jealous and demanding to know the truth from Demonia. Demonia admits that she slept with Titi, “Once, twice, three times” and wore herself out with him. Mariana is obviously not pleased and fantasizes about shooting her.
Instead of actually doing it, though, she turns her attention to little Catalina Jaramillo Santana. As she approaches her daughter, she looks completely loca and is probably a little scary. We do not want to see that kid’s therapy bills in the future. Mariana is eventually calmed down and talked into going to sleep instead of trying to go to Titi’s funeral. Except not.
Later, Ramón “Moncho” Montecarlo (Mauricio Mauad) is stressing over Mariana and decides to go check on her, over Demonia’s objections. He’s muy enojado to find Mariana gone and decides to search for her. Demonia tries to stop him, but it’s no use. Instead, she ends up playing babysitter for baby Cata. She’s actually pretty sweet with her, which is surprising.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Over it
As for the rest of their group, Diabla is not enjoying her personal task of getting close to Berrio. She thinks he’s boring and gross, and expresses this to Mano Negra (Juan Pablo Gamboa). She’s still going to go out with him, though, as planned. She plays it up well, and Berrio is a total stooge for falling for this. Didn’t he learn anything from his last love with no real past?
Also over it is Mano Negra. To be specific, he’s losing patience with Santos Castellanos (Luis Carlos Fuquen), who is supposedly in need of more time in creating their new drug. A gun to his back, however, suddenly produces a box of the new purple pills that are supposed to be their hope. He just doesn’t know what the side effects will be. He begs for time to check things out, and Mano Negra grants it. But he expects not to be let down in Santos wants to live.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Finding Paola
As for the DEA missions, Vanessa Salazar (Estefanía Gómez) is on top of the Paola Pizarro (Alejandra Pinzón) search. After coordinating with a bunch of intelligence agencies in different countries, Vanessa has a lead. There’s a picture of a woman who looks like a shadow on Paola in Japan. She’s on a street there known for prostitution and trafficking, which pains both Vanessa and Catalina Santana (Carmen Villalobos).
To proceed, as it’s tricky operating there, they decide to speak to Michael Rubens (Giancarlo de Sousa). They think he’ll be the best person to guide them on how to handle the jurisdiction situation.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Calvo’s weakness
Natalia Bérmudez (Linda Baldrich) also makes progress in her mission to find Diabla via Esteban Calvo (Manuel Gómez). She’s advised, after not learning much through their computer system to turn to the streets for information. She does just that, and ends up learning that Calvo has a son. As he’s apparently gone to such pains to hide this son, she feels he is a weak spot. She plans to meet with him that very night.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: The search for Diabla
Cata Grande contacts Lucrecia Olivares (Eliana Diaosa), who was just in a meeting with Berrio’s team. They are not pleased that Berrio is spending so much time with “Valeria Montes” lately. He’s even neglecting preparing for the upcoming debate. The call is a request to meet with Cata Grande, which Lucrecia quickly accepts.
She later meets Cata Grande at a café, where Cata Grande has been waiting. Lucrecia notices something off about her, so she asks what’s going on. Cata Grande admits that she had ordered herself killed at a place much like this one. Lucrecia is shocked, and Cata Grande explains the original target was Diabla. But boredom and lots of painful events crashed down on her and she decided to take Diabla’s place at the last minute.
She tells Lucrecia that she’s recently learned that Diabla is alive after they believed she died in an attack on a DEA convoy. Cata Grande needs to know everything about Lucrecia’s undercover mission that had her sharing a cell with Diabla. She believes that if they work together, they can find where she is.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Bragging rights
Titi’s funeral turns into more of a mess than a Jerry Springer episode, as a bunch of Titi’s former women are there, including Cata Grande and Mariana. Cata Grande is there to see for herself that he is really dead. As she sees the fake Titi, she’s visibly moved. She’s just about to leave when she sees Mariana as well. She tries to catch up to her daughter, but this just leads to a bunch of fighting as she tries to push her way through the crowd. There’s seriously hair pulling, slaps, and all that good stuff going on. We can’t.
Making things worse is Mariana, who believes herself above these other “pathetic prostitutes” who are mourning Titi. When she is pushing her own way through the group to the casket, she informs a woman that she is Titi’s girl. The woman replies back that they all are, but Mariana says she’s the only one that gave him a daughter. They also fight, and it’s a mess. Before Cata Grande can make it to her, Moncho and his backup race in and pull Mariana from the place, frustrating Cata Grande.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: ¿Su perdición?
Titi, meanwhile, is enjoying watching his own funeral from a car right outside the cemetery. He is especially getting a kick out of Cata Grande and Mariana showing up, but all the women there are annoying Pilar (Margarita Reyes). They get into an argument about this, and Pilar reminds him that the XY4 formula Demonia stole is still safely stored in her head. The implied threat is there, and Titi tries to laugh off the women there. We’re calling it now—Pilar is totally going to be his downfall. He’s messed around with one woman too many…
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Undercover mission
Finally, Santiago Sanín (Roberto Manrique), José Luis “Jota” Vargas (Francisco Bolívar), and Zoraya Fuentes (Eileen Roca), along with some backup, manage to hijack the real waitstaff that was on their way to Berrio’s event. Then take the place of the real staff and manage to get inside. It’s almost a failed mission.
They are so bad at their jobs, they almost get fired straight off. The only thing that keeps them there is the fact the company the planners hired couldn’t send anyone else. Zoraya is really nervous about facing Berrio, but Santiago reminds her she can’t back out now. He needs to know the truth.
