For those of you who may have missed it, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) were involved in a car accident.
It’s Ridiculous to Blame the Other Driver When Jordan and Curtis Were Driving Distracted
Jordan nearly died, and now Curtis is determined to find the other driver, whom he already suspects is Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). Of course, he does! He wants him to be guilty.
Curtis wants the other driver to pay with their firstborn child for allegedly failing to stop to help them. Yet, we all saw Curtis and Jordan canoodling like two hormonal teenagers on their way to the drive-in when Jordan was supposed to be looking at the road.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has been eaten up by guilt, thinking she “drove drunk” after one flipping glass of wine and may have caused the crash.
The whole accident storyline is a non-starter. How can Jordan and Curtis not understand that had they actually been paying attention, this probably wouldn’t have happened in the first place?
It’s ridiculous to blame “the other driver” because we all saw that Brook Lynn’s eyes were on the road. She wasn’t drunk. In fact, she was well under the legal limit.
So, the big car crash mystery sucks. What we’re a lot more invested in is the mystery surrounding Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) and Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone).
It looks like Ethan may be the father of Delilah’s baby, whom Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) are currently fostering, but want to adopt.
Ethan was quite moved by how Brook Lynn and Chase have stepped up to raise Delilah’s little girl, Phoebe. Brook Lynn and Chase found Delilah outside while she was having pregnancy cramps.
Ethan May or May Not Be the Father of Delilah’s Baby
Delilah was very reluctant to go to the hospital but eventually agreed once the pain became unbearable. Once Delilah was at GH, she was told she needed a C-section.
Sadly, Delilah tragically passed away from complications. Brook Lynn and Chase tried to locate any family members they could to claim Delilah, but without success.
So, Brook Lynn and Chase decided to foster Phoebe. However, they fell in love with her and now want her to be part of their family.
In the May 6th episode of GH, Ethan paid a visit to the Quartermaine mansion. He had a chat with Brook Lynn and Chase, and they told him this story. He kept quiet about his connection to Delilah, whatever it is.
Ethan seemed very comfortable leaving Delilah with Brook Lynn and Chase. Yet, when he went to the pier to grieve Deliah, he burned a picture of her to destroy any evidence left of their relationship.
We have to wonder what exactly that relationship involved. Ethan said something very interesting at the end of the episode, “You were supposed to be safe.”
What does that mean? Was Ethan the father of Delilah’s baby, or was she in trouble, and he was watching her to protect her for some reason?
We’re on the edge of our seats to find out more about Ethan and Delilah’s connection. Ethan is a very interesting character, and we want to know more.
Ethan and his relationship with Delilah, and whether this baby is his, are far more intriguing to us than pinning a car crash on an innocent party.
