On Monday, June 1st, Josh Swickard, who plays Harrison Chase, and his wife, Lauren, welcomed their third child, a baby boy named Noah, into their family.
Josh Swickard’s Wife, Lauren, Gave Birth to their New Son, Noah Naturally and Without Medical Intervention
The actor and his wife, Lauren, shared a joint Instagram post announcing the joyous news. In the photo were the proud parents, Josh and Lauren, and their two older children, their daughter, Savannah, and their son, Arthur.
On Instagram, they posted a carousel of photos featuring Savannah and Arthur with their adorable new baby brother, Noah.
There were also photos of Lauren cuddling with the little guy. In one of the photos, Noah is seen wearing a cute onesie. It has the words “little brother” stitched on, along with a hat with his name.
Swickard shared the sweet, unique story of how Lauren brought their baby boy into the world by giving birth naturally and without any medical intervention, which is an impressive feat.
Noah weighs nine pounds and fourteen ounces. The process involved sixteen hours of active labor. The home birth was under the care of a midwife, Lindsay Meehleis.
During the extensive labor process, Josh and Lauren were surrounded by a loving support system: her midwife, her mother, their children, and a chiropractor friend.
Swickard shared in an Instagram post,
“We would like to introduce y’all to sweet baby Noah! We are still processing his unique and beautiful story of how he came into the world and plan to share more soon.”
The proud papa continued,
“For now, I’m proud to share that Lauren pushed a 9lb. 14 oz. baby out naturally with no interventions at all. I have no words for the level of love and admiration I have for her.”
He added,
“The Lord has big plans for our little Noah, we can’t wait to watch him grow into the young man he’s destined to be!”
Lauren and Josh Were Married in July 2019
Swickard has been an integral part of the GH cast playing Harrison Chase since 2018. He became engaged to Lauren in December 2018. The pair were married in July 2019 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Hyde Park United Methodist Church in Ohio.
The couple first met in 2017 when they were both on the set of the romantic drama film, “Roped.” Lauren played Josh’s love interest, and then they both appeared in the Netflix film “A California Christmas” and its sequel, “A California Christmas: City Lights.”
Currently, Josh’s character on GH, Chase, will potentially be embroiled in a major scandal involving his ex-wife, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).
In 2023, Lauren had a short-term role on GH as Janice. Janice was a nurse at Ferncliff while Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) was staying at the facility.
Sasha had a severe mental breakdown and unkowingly stabbed Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), believing he was the evil Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Back in January, Josh and Lauren shared the blissful news on Instagram that they were expecting their third child.
In January, they shared a video of their family on their farm. They also shared a few clips of Lauren showing off her cute baby bump. Now, their wonderful family has expanded.
