Univision Rubí spoilers indicate Rubí Pérez Ochoa (Camila Sodi) got a very unwelcome surprise on Wednesday, February 26th. With the final episode set to air at the special time of 9 PM EST, we have learned exactly how Rubí ended up how she did, and we got a setup for a huge battle to come. Here’s what you need to know. And don’t forget to set the DVR for an after show tonight that begins at 10:30 EST.

    Univision Rubí Spoilers: The trap

As we mentioned, Héctor Ferrer Garza (Rodrigo Guirao) left a house with a bad history for Rubí. She just had no idea just how bad things were going to be. When she arrived, everything seemed fine. She took Boris (Henry Zakka) with her to check it out and decide if she wanted to keep it. She told him to wait for her as she explored the inside. Big mistake.

Inside, someone waited for her. Yes, it was Héctor. Needless to say, Rubí spoilers reveal this was a huge shock. It turned out Héctor got some random guy who’d died while living on the streets and passed the body off as his own. He then waited until the perfect moment to get back at Rubí. Knowing she had few options left or she wouldn’t have come crawling back to the lawyer, she was given a choice.

Univision Rubí Spoilers: Not so bad

It turned out Rubí has a bit of a decent side to her. She was about to turn Hector and his home down until she learned he was watching Fernanda Pérez Ochoa (Valery Saís) and Alejandro Cárdenas (José Ron) via video surveillance. He also had bombs ready to go off if she didn’t obey. She put up a fight at first, which is where she got the huge scar we’ve seen in the Future scenes. With the threat looming, and being overpowered, Rubí consented to obey. She just begged for him not to hurt Boris and allow him to work there for her. It seems things are getting desperate in the future, though, and we’re in for a massive final battle.

    Univision Rubí Spoilers: Rubí’s penance?

In the future, Héctor showed up at the house and was displeased to find two strange people there. That was specifically forbidden. Making it worse, she’d shared her life story on video with one of them. He can’t have that. Héctor’s given the order for Frank’s, grown Fernanda’s (Ela Velden) husband, body to be disposed of. Now, he wants Fernanda gone as well.

In the final moments of last night’s episode, Rubí had promised to save Fernanda and was preparing an escape when Hector caught them. So, what do we think will happen? Let’s face it: Rubí is a terrible person for the most part. The damage she’s done is monumental. What better way to make up for that than sacrificing herself to save her niece? We think it’ll happen, and we’re here for it. Preferably, she’ll take Héctor with her.
