Univision Rubí spoilers indicate the spell’s been lifted. In the Tuesday, February 25th episode, we saw Alejandro Cárdenas (José Ron) stand up for himself. Of course, it was a bit late. And we’re not sure he’s such a great catch for his latest woman. Here’s what you need to know.

    Univision Rubí Spoilers: Weakness

The bond between him and Rubí Perez Ochoa (Camila Sodi) was strong. She continues to wear the hourglass necklace he gave her, even after she’d left him for a couple of other men. And when she found out he had another woman, Sonia Aristimuño (Alejandra Espinoza), Rubí didn’t hesitate to get in the way.

    Univision Rubí Spoilers: Sabotage

So, we’re not sure if this guy is a glutton for punishment, or that stupid. When Rubi came on to him, he forgot all about Sonia for the moment and fell right into Rubí’s trap. It was a display of weakness that was as sad, as it was pathetic. But it seems he learned something.

Univision Rubí Spoilers: At it again

It seems she wasn’t done with her great love yet. Rubí spoilers indicate she didn’t take well to learning Alejandro now fell for Maribel de la Fuente (Kimberly Dos Ramos). You know, the supposed best friend who’s prometido Rubí seduced—on their wedding day. Rubí used the keys she’d managed to make at some point to get into his apartment. When Alejandro arrived, she tried to seduce him again. After all, Prince Eduardo (Rubén Sanz) wouldn’t give her her royal place. Héctor Ferrer Garza’s (Rodrigo Guirao) dead and disinherited her, and she’d burned Lucas Fuentes Morán (Lisardo) too badly to have hopes of going back to him. So, she decided to try for her true love again.

Luckily for him, he’s learned his lesson. After what Rubí did, and how he’d screwed things up with Sonia, he refused to fall back into her arms. He told her flat out he’s done, and he’s happy with Maribel. It’s a lesson that might have been better learned before he, you know, cheated on a pregnant woman. But, at least he seems to have broken the spell Rubí puts on pretty much every man in her sights. We still think there’s a genetic link crossing over two novelas, but then again… it seems like an irresistible woman is going to be the trend in novelas now. So, what’s next?

Univision Rubí Spoilers: Happy ever after?

We’re not sure that Marbiel made out so well. He is a cheater, plus he has a child out there somewhere that the mother wants him far away from. That’s a lot of baggage. Still, considering they were both burned by the same person, this could be a thing that gives them a lasting bond. We just think, no matter the temptation, Maribel shouldn’t have gloated too hard to Rubí. It’s deserved, for sure. And tempting. But sometimes it’s better not to tempt the fates. You know what they say about cheaters. Let’s hope for Maribel’s sake, he really has learned and grown. We like her, and think she deserves a decent guy.
