Univision Médicos Spoilers: Investigation continues
First, Alonso continues his investigation into Gonzalo Olmedo’s (José Elías Moreno) case. His helper made a huge discovery. While checking into Gonzalo’s tenure, he learned Gonzalo used his own money to make sure the hospital got the fuel they needed during that power outage.
This makes Alonso confident he can win Gonzalo’s case. Why would a man who takes advantage of his position use his own money to help the Institute? And now? Mireya Navarro (Erika de la Rosa) might have handed them victory on a silver platter.

So, we gotta admit something here. We misread something about the promo information. It was actually a birth that Gonzalo had to perform—on the street. And it was Mireya’s fault.
However, we were wrong in our assumption she’d done something to make the ER area look bad on purpose. This was an act of hubris and just plain stupid.
Médicos spoilers reveal a pregnant woman came in and Mireya dismissed her. She used the excuse there weren’t many people on duty and the woman wouldn’t give birth for a while anyway.
Mireya didn’t do any checking of her or go too in depth with any questions before sending the woman along to get a walk in. She assured her this would help. It didn’t.
Instead, this poor lady went into labor right outside on the street and Gonzalo had to take care of her. He, you might remember, is still sharing a visitor pass with his son.
Anyway, Mireya denied something based on Gonzalo being the one to ask for it. So, Gonzalo begged someone to go looking for Regina Villaseñor (Livia Brito).
When Regina saw a newborn baby outside, she helped get the lady and baby settled inside. However, she was warm! Regina let Mireya have it for her actions and promised to report her. This is where it gets even more fun.
Univision Médicos Spoilers: Ammunition
Obviously, Médicos spoilers indicate Mireya got upset. So, she went running to René Castillo (Rodrigo Murray) to report what just happened. This was bad, because Martha (María Alicia Delgado) noted Mireya’s been coming to the director’s office an awful lot.
René tried to excuse it, but Martha pointed out she never came this often when Gonzalo was in charge. This will surely have her keeping a closer eye on what’s going on.
Not only that, René helped possibly make this worse. The best thing he could have done was allow Mireya to get the report and take a little discipline. René looked like he might do it, but he actually defended Mireya to Regina.
This has her suspicious as well. In fact, she mentioned this to Gonzalo and promised to keep on top of everything she does. This could be the key to proving Gonzalo’s innocence.

Univision Médicos Spoilers: Back to work
In other, related, news, Mireya’s actions had another consequence. David wanted to turn down Ana Caballero’s (Grettell Valdez) job offer. However, when he heard about what is going on and how badly it’s hurting Regina, he decided to return to the Institute after all. He just had one condition.
If he’s going to take over consulta externa, he wants Ana to back off Regina. Ana couldn’t believe he’s so worried about a woman who dropped him after firing him, but she agreed to the terms. That’s how bad she wants David close. This can’t end well. Seriously. This girl needs a reality check.
Univision Médicos Spoilers: Tough answers
Finally, Pamela got the DNA test back and it proved Carmen (Cynthia Klitbo) is her mother. Getting the actual answer really affected her. Pamela got upset, because she’d never really cared about knowing before and now she does. It also must have been hard for her to realize how bad off this bio mom is.
Eventually, she broke the news to Carmen. We’re looking forward to seeing how this plays out. Pamela has a lot to think about now. This whole thing happened because she wanted to find the woman’s daughter for an organ donation.
