It’s clear Mariana is getting under Luis Alberto’s skin, and that’s something León can’t allow to happen.

So, Mariana saved Alberto’s life when he had a medical emergency. She’d flashed back to her Godmother having a similar problem and what the paramedics told her. This allowed her to handle the situation properly—and force the security guards who were going to contradict her listen. Now, she might just save him a second time. It seems she’ll learn there’s a bomb in Alberto’s van. If she does save him from disaster and certain people don’t start backing off Mariana, we don’t know what to say. She’s clearly not a dangerous stranger out to take advantage of Alberto’s kindness.
