So for the last 20 years, Kim Plath has doubled-down and has been the model redpill trad wife that every conservative dreams about, in her words, she kept her head down focused on raising the children, being pregnant, was always in the home, and music, but now that there aren’t so many children in the home and no one is really questioning her anymore, it seems that Kim has started to question herself.
We knew something was up when the episode began by Kim playing loud rap music for her and her daughters to dance to, granted it was 80’s rap music so Run DMC and the like, but it was still a rap song, something we would’ve never expected out of Kim, considering how much of a fit she threw when she found out that Moriah was interested in secular music.

She also got her own dance studio because there are no adult dance classes that she can take in South Georgia, she said she wanted to expand the studio to include a lot of different style of dance, including bellydancing! Now, you would think that such a thing would clash with her very conservative beliefs but apparently not, but we fail to remember that Kim was not always conservative and was quite the party girl back in the days pre-Barry.
She even confessed to Micah that her own Mother used to grow pot, so we don’t know where on earth Ethan Plath’s staunch anti-drug stance comes from. Actually, scratch that, we do know and it’s decidedly more Barry than Kim.
Speaking of Barry…
Barry said that he wasn’t sure what was going on in their relationship but he wasn’t sure that it was a good thing. Kim, at the very end of the episode shared that she is now questioning what she wants the rest of her life to look like and whether or not she wants it spent with Barry. Wow. Do we smell separation or possibly even divorce on the horizon for the Plath family?
Although, that would kind of explain why Kim picked and picked at Ethan and Olivia’s relationship until they couldn’t take it anymore and moved away, if she was that unhappy with her own life, then, it’s no wonder that she would see a couple that was happy in theirs and try to ruin it. Can we get an apology for Moriah and Olivia? We’ll be waiting. Stay tuned!!!
