Welcome to Plathville is coming back and there have been quite a few changes in the family. Ethan Plath has opened up about the issues that he has with his mother. His mother isn’t fond of his wife, Olivia Plath and they feel that she has made him rebel against his family. Ethan has told his fans that his mother won’t even allow him to see his other siblings and he is ready to tell his mother what is really on his mind.
‘Welcome to Plathville’: Ethan Lashes Out
On the new trailer for Welcome to Plathville, we will see Ethan lashing out against his mother. He wanted to meet up with his younger sister, Lydia Plath and when he does, Kim decides that she wants to be in the room as well. This does not go over well with him though.
Ethan is so angry that he tells his wife about the incident, “I don’t know why she has to be like that. I thought she would just drive herself over here. I don’t want my mom to be anywhere around here. I don’t think my mom ‘has’ to bring her here. It’s her little power move in a deal.”
Ethan is the oldest of the Plath children and he feels as if he has to stand his ground with his parents in order to see his younger siblings. There has been a lot of tension between him and his mother. He told cameras, “My mom really expects everyone else to bend over for whatever she wants and she will not do the same for you. That’s one of the big reasons I don’t communicate with her. I don’t know why that’s so complicated and she can’t understand that. I’m totally not OK with putting up with that anymore.”
Olivia has warned Ethan for years that they need to move far away from his family because it won’t help if they are close to them. Kim continues to try and stop by with Ethan’s younger siblings because she knows he wants to see them. Kim continues to push them to the point where Ethan gets so angry to see her.
We don’t know what drama will happen on this season of Welcome to Plathville, but by the looks of it, things may get really intense. You will be able to see more family drama on the new season. It airs on Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. EST on TLC.
