‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is acting a bit skittish with all the talk that he may have been involved in Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death, or at least getting rid of his body. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) finds it odd that there seem to be so many questions regarding the case and assumes his father is responsible.

Victor isn’t too thrilled about being questioned though and issues a threat to his own blood, pretty much explaining that it would be better for Adam to be on his side…

“Victor implies Adam should stop speculating about Ashland’s mysterious death.”

Fans reacted to the moment saying, “Yet you failed to treat him as an equal in the Newman clan….Adam vs Victor showdown loading”, “I want Adam to find out the truth”, “Victor only wants to use Adam he doesn’t treat him as well as he does his other children”, “Victor is confident Adam plays games who are u a leader or followers get ran in the dirt leaders win”, and “Adam deserves to put the guilt on Victor.”

Could this be Adam’s opportunity to not only get what he feels he deserves but to also take down his father? Victor seems a bit too overconfident in his actions and believes nothing bad will ever happen to him. OF course, with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Adam getting more suspicious, it feels like Victor may be walking on thin ice. We could very well be witnessing the downfall of Victor Newman. A hungry Adam and a cop on his case could put a lot of pressure on him and he may slip up in his old age.

What do you think? Is Victor too overconfident in this situation and will it lead to his downfall from Adam and Chance? Let us know in the comments below.
