‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Wednesday, April 22 will focus on Victor’s plans and possible defense against them.
After antagonizing Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will stop by the ranch.
Victor will thank her for making his plan work and pay her with a bag of cash.
He wants to keep their deal between them, but when she doesn’t say she’s leaving town, things could escalate.
Infuriated by Patty mocking her, Diane returns Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)’s gifts, pushing him and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to use their nuclear option.
Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will warn Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) and Phyllis Summers (Phyllis Summers) about Victor’s plan.
He’ll offer to help them and save Phyllis, and we expect it’ll be for her to return the company to Victor.
The fact he knows what Victor’s doing and is a credible source would make him a witness against Victor. But who cares about legalities when Victor tries to win?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, April 22: Patty’s paid and Nuclear Options are considered
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect Victor paying Patty is meant to create another source of agitation for him.
We’re all for it since he’s forgotten about his family in his quest to regain his money and power.
A shame Victor doesn’t have any redeeming qualities like loyalty pr selflessness. We might cheer for him if he did.
Anyway, we think Patty staying in town won’t be part of his plan. She’s a loose end, and now that she’s been paid he lost his leverage with her being declared sane.
Meanwhile, Diane will blow up at Jack and Nikki when she finds them eating scones. It’ll be the end of the line for them and they’ll consider their nuclear option.
At this point, why not?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, April 22: Michael offers Phyllis a chance
Not a surprise that Michael will offer Victor’s idea of maybe letting Phyllis go if she returns his company.
He’ll probably say Victor will. It’s Michael’s way of protecting them and staying loyal to his daddy fixation.
Far be it from us, but he would be a massively damning witness against Victor for both AI programs.
He knows where all the bodies are buried, and if Michael was serious he’d choose his wife and friend and bury Victor for what he’s done.
That would mean Victor would lose and that’s against the writers’ ethics. Growth and consequences are the third rail.
We doubt Phyllis will accept the deal, and think Lauren will stand with her. They’ll pressure Michael to do the right thing, but will he make the right choice for once?
