‘The Bachelorette’ star of (the first part of) season 16, Clare Crawley and the man she left the show for after only two weeks, Dale Moss have gone their separate ways. For the second time.
Clare made Bachelor Nation history when she decided she was too head over heels in love with Dale to lead the 16th season of The Bachelorette and, after just four episodes, Dale proposed and the two rode off into the sunset while production scrambled to get Tayshia Adams all Covid- tested and down to New Mexico to take over the remainder of the show.
‘The Bachelorette’: Star Clare Crawley and Dale Moss Call it Quits. Again
The couple suffered a break-up in January 2021, only two months after Bachelor Nation watched Dale slip a Neil Lane sparkler onto Clare’s finger, but by February were back together again.
Now the rollercoaster ride has taken another dip and according to “sources close to the couple” this split is for good.
The couple were last spotted together in the Grey Goose suite at the U.S. Open on September 9 where Clare and Dale snapped a pic with fellow Bachelorette Katie Thurston and her final rose winner, Blake Moynes (who incidentally, was on Clare’s half-a-season).
Eagle-eyed fans, however, began to speculate there was trouble in paradise when Dale was spotted at Fashion Week events, a Coldplay concert and a screening for Dear Evan Hansen, all sans his fiancé.
The rumors really began to fly when Dale celebrated his 33rd birthday on September 24, Clare still not in sight. In fact, Clare didn’t even publicly acknowledge the day.
Though reports had indicated that the reunited couple was back on the road to wedded bliss—Clare was even wearing her engagement ring again— it turns out the Bachelor Nation celebrations were all too premature
At time of writing neither Clare nor Dale’s camps have made public comments about this second and alleged final split.
