Predator is back on the screen in Hulu‘s upcoming film ‘Prey’, where we will take a journey back in time to a Native American tribe as they attempt to survive the infamous hunt that we’ve become too accustomed to. While this will be a streaming platform movie, which some may look down upon, I think it’s a step in the right direction for the Predator franchise.
After the first few films, Predator seemed less scary, and with 2010’s ‘Predators’ film, it felt a little forced and we turned Adrien Brody into an action hero. I enjoy Brody, but he felt a little miscast as the hero in the film. What ‘Prey’ does is add the fear and high stakes back into the franchise. How does one defeat Predator with a bow and arrow?
“It lives to hunt. #Prey is coming to Hulu on August 5.”

Viewers reacted to the new trailer, “Wow! I’m genuinely surprised how good this looks. I wasn’t honestly expecting much but it actually looks good and I hope it’s a success! Want to see more Predator movies like this.”, “This trailer looks intense!! The thriller aspect has returned to the Predator it seems! The native american girl, saved from bear by Predator hunting was brutal!! “They hunt to live…” “It Lives to Hunt.” were pretty good taglines!!”, “This trailer makes us represent of how Predator gets to be sneaky and silent like in the first film. Also the Predator clicking is satisfying throughout the trailer!”, “This looks amazing! I wasn’t expecting that with it going straight to streaming.”, “For anyone wondering; Director and Native talents says that they filmed an alternate version in Comanche Language (where the actors spoke Comanche instead) or English. So you can choose to watch it in its original language. I surely will be watching it with Comanche and subtitles! :)” and “This looks really promising!”
