In Washington DC, a woman was found deceased in a shopping cart, authorities are suspecting Anthony Eugene Robinson, who has been dubbed “The Shopping Cart Killer”. He is already suspected in the murders of Allene Beth Redmond, and Tonita Larice Smith, and also in a container just outside of the Moon Inn was found Stephanie Harrison and Cheyenne Brown, and now this fifth, as yet unknown woman in Washington DC.
Currently, Robinson is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of concealing dead bodies, he is currently being held in Harrisonburg, VA.
Potential fifth victim of Shopping Cart Killer found
Robinson used the dating app Plenty of Fish to lure people in. Plenty of Fish released a statement saying, “We are deply saddened to hear of the victims in this horrific case. We will fully cooperate with law enforcement to support their investigation.”
Police are asking potential survivors or anyone who may have had contact with Robinson to come forward with information about the murders to determine whether or not there could be any more missing person’s cases linked to the Shopping Cart Killer.
Robinson’s MO, according to police, was inflicting as much trauma and pain as he could on these victims before ultimately killing them and then transporting them to their final resting place via shopping cart.
Cheyenne Brown, one of his alleged victims, met him on Plenty of Fish, her Mother is now speaking out saying, “None of these familes deserve to go through this. Now, not only is my daughter gone, but he took the life of my unborn grandchild.”
Brown was pregnant at the time of her disappearance, she was already the mother to a seven-year-old child. Louis Nagy, Robinson’s attorney declined to comment saying “Unfortunately I am not in a position to comment on Mr. Robinson’s pending matters in Rockingham County or the allegations from Fairfax or Washington D.C. at this time.” but he did confirm that no pleas have been filed on Robinson’s behalf yet.
