As we all know, after five weeks of being MIA, Brian Laundrie’s remains were found – and confirmed by FBI DNA analysis. However, Dwayne “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman offers an alternate theory, and some of it, while it may not be plausible, brings up some valid points.
Chapman pointed out in an interview on the youtube channel “Popcorned Planet” on their charity livestream that there were a few things that, to him, seemed fishy about the Brian Laundrie case, most notably was the lack of reaction from the parents.
Dog the Bounty Hunter speculates that remains may not be Brian Laundrie’s
He said, “If that were my child, I would be screaming, demanding to know if that were my baby.” offered Chapman, when mentioning the Laundrie’s reaction to their son’s remains being found. While everyone grieves differently, he did point out that this was not a normal reaction to the death of a child.
The Mother simply wiped away a single tear when she was informed that her son’s remains were literally a few hundred feet away from her, being a Mother, the woman who gave birth to him, you would expect her to scream and collapse, or at the very least start sobbing openly. But no, both parents were pretty stoic.
Chapman also pointed out that the place where Laundrie’s remains were found was called “Buzzard Alley” and said that whenever there had been dead things there before, that large numbers of turkey vultures would gather at the place, and there were no vultures to be found.
If we remember the Gabby Petito case, her family said that the day before they discovered her body there was a bird of prey, a large eagle, flying about and the search and rescue team said that was a sign that they would probably find her within the coming days – they were right. There was no such thing with the remains of Brian Laundrie.
Chapman also pointed out that they had dog teams working the area that the found Laundrie’s remains and due to natural oils found in bodies, dogs can usually detect remains in water… however for the entire month they worked the spot? The dogs never got a hit. Maybe it’s a huge coincidence, but the science is not adding up.
There was also the fact of the matter that the dentist that identified the dental records as belonging to Brian Laundrie was his very own uncle. When asked if he thought a deal was cut to “find the body” of Brian Laundrie, Chapman proposes that he thinks that there was a deal cut simply because he doesn’t think the Laundrie family is “criminal-minded enough to do it themselves” meaning, he doesn’t think that they pulled it all off without some help from the authorities.
Chapman does state that, he could be wrong, but that he’s willing to put his theories out there. He does maintain that they’re just theories however, and does not maintain them as fact. So, could Chapman’s theory be right? Stay tuned!!!
