The man who when on a subway massacre in New York City, injuring at least 23 people, was a raving racist and would go on tirades on his YouTube channel about the differences between black and white people and how white people were the ‘enemy’. Shockingly, this doesn’t seem to be covered by many news outlets.

Frank R. James wanted just last month that he was ‘entering the danger zone’ as he rented a U-Haul that has been tied to the attack. In one video, he says, “Mr. Mayor, I’m a victim of your mental health program. I’m 63 now and full of hate, fill of anger, and full of bitterness.” He continued to go after Eric Adams about the homeless situation and explained his mental illness.

While his battle with mental illness surely lends itself to what happened, his ravings and rantings about racist rhetoric and ‘black verse white’ are truly disturbing. His YouTube channel has already been taken down but the videos still exist on several websites.

He would often say that white people ‘had to go’ and would post memes telling ‘Black Jesus’ to ‘kill all the whiteys’. When speaking about the war in Ukraine, he said, “It’s just a matter of time before these white motherf—ers decide, ‘Hey listen. Enough is enough. These n—ers got to go.” He continued to say that the only solution he sees is to pick up a gun, “And so the message to me is: I should have gotten a gun, and just started shooting motherf—ers.”

Just two days before the shooting, he posted another video where he said that black people were forced into violence because of white people, “This is what white b*****s and white m*********ers’ expect you to be… when you blow one of their f*****g brains out – this is what you asked for. This is how you wanted me to be, obviously.”

In another video, he weeps over the news that new Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is married to a “white man,” whom he described as the “enemy.”

James would often be very blatant about his racism, “White people and black people, as we call ourselves, should not have any contact with each other.”

It also appears that the attack was heavily premeditated and that James had plans for future attacks with a stash of weapons and ammo and wore a disguise that he quickly shed after the attack happened. Between his mental illness, premeditation and racist tirades, it seems obvious why he did what he did, but news outlets are still afraid to call him out for his statements before the shooting.

He has since been found and arrested, and thankfully was denied bail. He will remain in federal custody after briefly appearing in federal court Thursday.

James will face life in prison if convicted in the attack, which left at least 29 people shot or otherwise injured, shaking a city already unnerved by a sharp rise in crime.
