He’s back! Actor Shaun Weiss best known for his role as Goldberg in ‘The Mighty Ducks’ had a major comeback milestone as he opened up for comedian Russell Peters at his comedy show. Shaun told TMZ that he opened for him on Friday, performing about 10 minutes at Oxnard Levity Live Improv. In fact, Russell is the one who told Shaun he should focus on comedy and make his new passion, something he hasn’t done for years.
Just three years ago Shaun was homeless and bumped into Russell behind a Deli in Santa Monica and Russell gave him $100. Now, Shaun is sober and recovering from his addiction and thanked Peters for the help then. This caused Russell to offer him an opening spot at the improv.

Shaun says he had the crowd laughing especially when he made fun of himself and reference something involving an ex-girlfriend back in 2014.
While he’s battle drug addiction for several years causing him to have several run ins with the law and losing most of his teeth, Shaun seems to be back in a big way and we couldn’t be happier.
It seems to be a think of the past now and he’s ready for a new beginning. He’s also got a new acting gig in a film called ‘Jesus Revolution’. It looks like it’s all uphill from here!
A massive congratulations to Shaun on his sobriety, film gig and opening up for Peters. It seems he’s conquered something most of us could never imagine. We can’t wait to see what the future holds! Welcome back Shaun!
