The last few days brought us some big announcements from the Love is Blind community. We learned that on October 19, Netflix is bringing us another season of the show and we discovered that there were three reunion episodes on the streaming service to view. If you haven’t watched the three episodes yet, there will be some major spoilers here.

Love is Blind is a dating experiment that will show its third season this fall. It began as a way to hook couples up even though they had never seen one another. The couples learned more about one another in pods where they sat and talked and never saw the other’s faces.

As they learn more about one another, they fall deeper and deeper in love, and eventually, one of them proposes. When they finally get to the altar, they can tell each other if they are going to marry them or not. We have seen many disappointments in the past, but there have been two marriages that have made it through.
A few of the season two cast members have gotten pretty close. Deepti Vempati and Kyle Abrams were matched up with others on the show and they were denied marriage when they go to the altar. With some big things in common, they started hanging out and have become very close friends. In fact, on the new episodes of the show, we learned that they hung out every day. They were pretty much inseparable and in the last episode, Kyle asks Deepti to be his girlfriend.
Kyle wanted to share with his fans about their relationship. He said, “I put so much pressure on myself because I was like, ‘I don’t want this to fail.’ I was hesitant to jump in for that reason because she was my best friend. And if it doesn’t work out, you kind of lose the friendship. Because if you break up for whatever reason- and I wasn’t planning to break up- but you always have to think about what happens after. I’ve been in that situation where you start dating your best friend and then you break up. You can’t really see that person anymore because it’s not fair to your future person. I wouldn’t want my current girlfriend to be hanging out with her ex-boyfriend. It’s not cool. I don’t think anyone would like that.”
Fans are extremely happy for these two and just seeing them together really has made us smile.
