Recently, there has been much speculation about a certain Facebook profile online called Pappa Rodger, people are saying that this profile is actually Bryan Kohberger and that he used AI generated art for his profile picture. It’s interesting though, the figure in the profile picture is dressed in a military uniform but not just any military uniform, the military uniform in question is a Russian military uniform, not an American one.

It’s unclear what he was trying to do there, but that’s what the AI generated. The avatar also appears to be much older, like by a few decades older, than Bryan Kohberger. At first glance and if you’re really not paying attention then you might think this account was being run by a senior citizen, the thing is there has been no actual confirmation about who it’s being run by yet.

Is Bryan Kohberger actually Pappa Rodger?

However the account has made some pretty interesting posts regarding the Idaho murders and that is what has made some people speculate that it could be him. Pappa Rodger started posting on a Facebook group two weeks after the Idaho murders.

The autopsies on the students were performed on November 17, 2022, 13 days before the first post by Pappa Rodger. During this time he had a routine Doctor’s appointment, celebrated his 28th birthday, and sent a friend a text wishing him and his family a happy Thanksgiving. Pappa Rodger’s first post to the Facebook group was made on November 30th. It consisted of the following:

“Of the evidence released, the murder weapon has been consistent as a large fixed blade knife. This leads me to believe they found the sheath. This evidence was released prior to autopsies.” when in fact while the police did mention a fixed blade knife, they did not actually mention the sheath. This fact was not public information until later… so how did this person know this?

Or even think about a knife sheath? Even when one is thinking of a gruesome murder such as this one often doesn’t think about the knife sheath. That is an afterthought… but not to Pappa Rodger. Why was he thinking about such an unimportant, seemingly insignificant piece of evidence? Or was it just then that he realized that he had left something behind? And that that would be how law enforcement might nab him? If this is indeed Brian Kohberger it would indeed be interesting to know what his thought processes behind these posts were.

He posted again on Nov. 30th saying, “I believe the killer(s) came from the high side of the house. They were covered in blood after the attack.”, the high side of the house would mean the back of the house where the sliding glass door was. That is kind of a no-brainer, but the surviving roommates who was a witness did not mention anything about seeing any blood on the dark clad figure with bushy eyebrows that she saw walking towards her.

It could have been that it was simply too dark to see the blood, but there is a theory floating around out there that he could have been wearing a black hazmat suit which would have covered everything… and yes, they do exist.

On Dec. 1st Pappa Rodger made yet another post, this time with a picture of the investigators at the scene, saying, “This is on the high side of the house. They found evidence here. It is likely blood dripping from the killer(s). Either they fled through this area or they were parked there. This being the most strategic entrance point to the house. It shows planning.”

How would this Pappa Rodger person know that this was the most strategic entrance point to the house, if they hadn’t staked out the place at least, oh I don’t know, 12 times before? Also, there was a picture on Xana Kernodle‘s social media that showed a white car not unlike that of Kohberger reflected in one of the windows of the house, it’s unclear if that actually was Kohberger’s vehicle, but with the information we know now, it seems pretty likely that it was.

On Dec. 2nd he posted yet another question about the murders in the group asking, “Did the killer(s) drive or walk to and from the scene? Thoughts?” This was posted only a few days after the vigil for the victims happened. One of the creepiest things he posted was on Dec. 5th, a picture of the side of the house where the dripping, blood-like substance was discovered and said, “Based on the evidence, this is where I believe Xana was found.”

Why call out her name specifically? Also, how would a random person online know where Xana’s room even was? Unless they had been there before… in spite of murdering 3 other people, he doesn’t mention any of their names personally in this post except for Xana’s, it begs the question, just what was his relationship did he have to her, or for that matter, any of the four victims.

We do know that he had messaged one of the girls on social media, specifically Instagram and they never responded, probably because the way IG is set up, they never even saw the message in question. If the following is not mutual, then you won’t see the messages they send to you. Also on Dec. 8th he posted a diagram of the house asking, “Thoughts on this body placement?”

In which he speculated on where the bodies were found in the house, but the speculation seemed pretty random and inaccurate, but why would an organized killer give all his secrets away? Certainly he would plant a few red herrings in order to throw law enforcement off his trail.

He then posted, “Google trends show the search history for the house by date. Lots of Thursday activity? What do we think?” He is specifically referring to the date of Nov. 10th, just three days before the murders. But when Kohberger posted his search finds he focused on the month of August, for some reason. On the same day of Dec. 8th he posted, “Did the killer stop at 4 victims out of exhaustion, convenience, or lack of knowledge?”

Interesting how he now only refers to the killer as a singular person, instead of leaving room for more than one as he did previously. It seems he started getting nervous around this time because he posted, “I feel like the white car isn’t relevant.” and then, “Why the killer choose a knife as the weapon of choice?” And “Why did the killer choose that house over all the other houses in the area?”

Does anyone get the feeling that he wanted to have his very own murder Q&A where people would admire him and possibly ask how he did it? Sort of like, when movie stars do Q&A panels at conventions? Because if this is indeed Kohberger that is the vibe we’re getting…

Which is really, really disturbing. He then went onto ask, “Why do we think the dog was spared?” But fails to ask about the two human beings who were left alive during the attack. Interesting. He then asked, “IYO… Did the killer shower at the crime scene afterward?” and “What do we think is the entrance point of the crime scene?”

It was then that the Pappa Rodger account went silent for about a day, but Dec. 9th would have been the last day of classes so if this is indeed Kohberger then it would stand to reason if he were too busy to post that day. That being said the next day on Dec. 10th Pappa Rodger came roaring back with this question, “4 weeks in and no suspects. What is the motive?”

That is the first time he mentioned motive. On Dec. 11th he posted, “Do we think the killer took anything from the house?” Which interestingly enough is remarkably similar to the reddit survey centering around crime that he had previously posted. And “How long do you think the killer was in the house?” Previously Poppa Rodger had commented that it was 15 minutes, but how would he know that?

That information had not been released publicly yet, at this point authorities were saying that it was between 3AM and 4AM. Then again on Dec. 11th he posted “Why do we think the knife was the weapon of choice?”

On Dec. 12th there was an article about a gas station worker that got posted saying that they saw a white Hyundai Elantra racing by around 3:45AM. More posts from Poppa Rodger on the 12th had him asking, “What do we think is the height and weight of the killer?” And “Is the killer still in Moscow, Idaho right now?” He even made posts on Dec. 13th, a grand total of six of them, when he would have been traveling through Colorado with his Dad.

That begs the question, was his Dad driving the entire time? It would make sense if he did. “How did the killer leave the scene? Did clean up at all?” He not only refers to the killer singularly, but also has dropped the word “they” in reference to the killer. He asks a remarkably similar question in his reddit survey about crime where he asks “How did you leave the crime scene?”

On Dec. 13th he posts again asking,”Not a new post from me, but still very relevant. How long was the killer inside the house?” And “One knife and four people. The killer took a big risk. The knife could have easily broken off or become ineffective after one or two murders. Are we sure there is only 1 knife involved?” We know by now that the knife that was used was a military style k-bar knife. It’s almost as if he wants a pat on the back for this. Quickly followed by, “The white car is a red herring.”

Was Kohberger afraid that the police were catching up to him at that point? He then posted, “If the door was left open or the heat wasn’t on, are we sure of the timeline of deaths? It was 28 degrees and overcast the night of the murders.” and then, “Fight me… LE is no closer to solving this than they were 30 days ago?” All this would be posted on the one month anniversary of the murders. This post was made right before he was pulled over on the highway by the cops.

On Dec. 14th, there were no posts, interestingly enough that would have been the same day that he and his Dad were traveling from Colorado to Pennsylvania. On Dec. 15th, the same day he was pulled over there was a post from Pappa Rodger’s account asking, “The killer has a sexual dysfunction. Thoughts?”

At that point there had been talk of the killer being an incel, so it’s interesting that this person would bring up sexual dysfunction. Then he posts “Day 32 and no motive. Same as Day 1. ” followed by, “Any known internet suspect has been eliminated at this point. Fight me.” It would seem that this guy really wants to fight. Then, “The date of the killing was chosen on purpose. Thoughts?”

The Pappa Rodger account did not post for a few days afterwards, until the 20th of December which would have been after Kohberger arrived in Pennsylvania to be with his family. On the 20th the account made this post, “Did the killer drive, walk, or some combination of both to the scene?”

And “Day 37. Do we think LE has a motive?” Along with, “A knife is a very risky weapon if you know you are going to murder four people. Do we think the killer also had another weapon, such as a stun gun or other knife? Or did they not know what they would encounter?” If we didn’t know better it would seem this guy wanted a cookie. Sorry, that’s not the penalty for quadruple murder. Then the account posted, “Ethan didn’t live at the crime scene. Very possible the killer didn’t know he was there. Thoughts?”

On Dec. 21st the account made a positively chilling post, “Can someone post actual evidence showing where the bodies were found?” Did he want actual crime scene photos? And “Regardless of what has been released I believe this is a sexually motivated crime.” According to authorities however, none of the victims had been sexually violated, but doesn’t necessarily mean it wasn’t sexually motivated, especially if the account is accurate and the killer did have a sexual dysfunction.

Was that why Bryan Kohberger had a doctor’s appointment in the days following the murders? He then made a post with yet another diagram of the house saying, “I know this won’t be popular but this is where I think the victims were found.” In this post he speculated that Ethan was found in the living room but that simply wasn’t true.

On Dec. 22nd the account posted, “Day 39: The killer is not in the victims immediate circle.” And “The killer is not a student. Thoughts?” It’s interesting that that first post is stated more like a fact, a fact that at this point we didn’t know yet.

When Kohberger was pulled over he did not tell the police that he was a student but rather said that he worked for Washing State University. This theory has not been proven yet, but all a dedicated programmer would have to do would be do an IP address search. Unless Kohberger has a VPN. We’ll keep our ears to the ground for this one. Stay tuned!!!
