‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will soon discover the ugly truth that her hero, and everybody’s favorite congressman, Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), slept with her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow May Have Felt Differently If She Knew The Truth
When she learns this information, will her starry-eyed view of Drew change? Willow has been enamored with Drew ever since their first kiss on the fourth of July.
Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) thought they’d be together for the rest of their lives, but Drew and Willow couldn’t stay away from each other, and frankly, it’s been sickening to watch.
Now, Willow’s life is a mess, and as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) pointed out, Drew has isolated her, so she no longer has anyone to turn to but Drew.
Meanwhile, Nina and Drew had hate sex on the floor of her office at Aurora. Then, they decided they enjoyed it so much that they moved their liaisons to Nina’s bedroom.
Unfortunately, Willow has no idea that the arrogant politician had a sexual relationship with her mother. She may have felt differently toward Drew if she’d known the kind of man he was, and maybe she would have never slept with him herself.
If Nina had told Willow the truth, maybe she wouldn’t have trashed her marriage, family, and the life she and Michael had built together.
We get that Nina fears losing her progress with her daughter, but to what end? Indeed, she could have fessed up before hiring Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to represent Willow in a nasty divorce and custody battle.
But Nina wasn’t willing to risk it. Nina’s BFF, Ava Jerome (Maura West), urged Nina to tell Willow about her and Drew to save Willow from making a mistake.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow Might Drop Drew Like a Hot Potato
Maybe her marriage is over, but Willow shouldn’t invest in a relationship with this cad, and she especially shouldn’t take Michael’s children, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko), and move to Washington with him.
Of course, if Nina drops the bomb on Willow, Drew will probably try to convince Willow that her mom is jealous and try to pull Willow away from Nina.
Drew is so full of himself that he may even believe that Nina is hurt that Drew is now with Willow.
Willow could also be furious with Nina for withholding the crucial information that she and Drew had sex. The reason is that Willow felt she could trust and confide in Nina. Willow would likely feel betrayed.
The other side of the coin is that Willow might drop Drew like a hot potato once she’s privy to the truth. Hopefully, Nina will speak up before it’s too late.
Imagine Drew and Willow start planning their lives together, and Willow finds out that Nina and Drew did the dirty deed with Nina right before they’re set to leave for Washington.
The showdowns that would take place in light of that revelation would be glorious and worth the wait. The soapy potential of the fallout occurs when Willow learns about Drew and Nina is limitless.
