‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) could soon inherit the Quartermaine mansion.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Demonstrated Character Growth When He Sided With Tracy Over Sonny
GH viewers know there is a nasty custody battle brewing between Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
Despite Michael wanting to share custody with Willow, he started the ball rolling to try to reason with Willow and negotiate a compromise.
While Michael is in the hospital fighting for his life., Micheal’s family stepped up to fight for his kids.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) grabbed Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) and Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) from Willow. The children have been staying at the Quartermaine mansion since.
Unfortunately, Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) convinces Willow to keep Carly and Sonny away from Michael unless she gets her kids back.
Sonny went to try to retrieve Wiley and Amelia from the Quartermaines. Tracy put her foot down and refused to let the children leave.

When Sonny wanted Jason to take his side and help him get the kids, Tracy urged him to choose the family over Sonny.
It was a pleasant surprise to many GH fans when Jason took Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) side over Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
It showed character growth and maturity on Jason’s part when he decided not to break his mother, Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) heart.
On January 12th, we were hit with the sad news that Leslie Charlson, who played Monica, passed away.
This means that Monica will inevitably pass, and the soap will pay homage to the iconic character. Of course, that also means the Quartermaines’ will learn who inherits the mansion.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Monica Has A Soft Spot For Jason
We hope Monica leaves the house to Jason and that he evolves more. Jason has already started honoring Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) wishes to keep their son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), safe and out of danger.
Morgan turned down Sonny’s request to take over his mob business “when the time came.” Jason doesn’t want the same thing to happen to Danny that happened to Michael when the fire broke out at Sonny’s penthouse, obviously set by his enemies.
Jason was once a Quartermaine. Despite changing his name, he’s still a part of the family. If Monica left him the house, it would drive Tracy up the wall.
Tracy thinks of herself as the ultimate Quartermaine, as she loves to remind everyone her brother, Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon), left the house to Monica upon his death.
“It’s Monica’s house. Alan bought it for her,”
Is uttered by Tracy often.
Tracy likely believes the mansion will go to her. However, it would be a fantastic twist if ownership were granted to Jason.
Jason probably warmed Monica’s heart when he recently moved into the mansion. After Sam died, he wanted to keep the kids, Danny, Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante), and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) together.
Monica has always had a soft spot for Jason, even after he joined forces with Sonny and his criminal enterprise. The loss of his mother will shatter Jason.
He may never want to be a doctor again, but it’s still not too late for Jason to find his inner Quartermaine. He could carry on the family legacy after Monica is gone.
